expected date for exam is 9 to 12 April. Since there is no declaration of any absolute syllabus by the ministry, can any senior or serving one can be kind enough to give expert opinion whether to expect an MCQs based paper initially or a subjective type? All I need is simply a sense of direction where exactly to go and what to begin with.

From the very little info that is available on this forum, it’s safe to say that there will be an MCQ based screening test followed by a descriptive test and essay (possibly on the same day).

I do have an observation though. There might be a possibility that MOD will call all aspirants to give tests in Isb/Rwp since it has not partnered with a testing agency and is doing induction all by itself. Arranging and managing test centers all over Pakistan would be quite difficult for a single ministry to handle. This might be why they have given the 9-12 April window. But this is just a hunch, things will be clarified after roll number slips get uploaded.

Yes , you are right to some extent.
At first ,they take mcqs based screening test . There are 200 mcqs in total , and total time is 2 hours. But , they keep on changing the total number of mcqs and the time too .
Then , after screening test , they will call you people for descriptive test after 2,3 months and sometimes after more than 6 months . Afterwards ,psychological test and then interview . Whole process takes more than a year i guess.

In your view, how will things change now that MOD is conducting test by itself and not through NTS? What changes can we expect in syllabus and scope of questions?
In 2019, it was a mish-mash of several random subjects.
