there is a friend of mine serving INSPECTOR ASF, he informed me about security questions like:
Q: how will u keep your home protected from thief?
A: (a thief can be entered from two ways, )1. main door and 2. roof, both enterance should be locked properly. etc.

security questions will be like general questions which you can solve easily as you read logically.

Following books are useful for the preparation of FPSC general recruitment.
01.Encyclopedia of general knowledge(ADEEl niaz Jahangir publisher)
02.General knowledge by ch najeeb(caravan publisher).

secondly,FPSC conducts written test for above mentioned vacancies . apart from this, FPSC sends call letter to eligible candidates through post .the test usually taken by FPSC within two month after expiry of date.

plz share the info.regarding ASI n Guards interview in Aiport Security Force...the test had been held in May 2012 then after who qualified test, had been called for Verification process, now further what will be the procedure...will interviews be conducted or not...because it was mentioned in advertisement tht test n verification process qualified candidtes will be called for panel interview, since 20 years hve been passed no interviews have been conducted in ASF before...now there r rumours that it has been late...that interviws will not be conducted due to process has been late....so i wanna know tht if anyone has info. regarding this....plz share here...

there is no contact number and website or any other source to get right information but according to my knowledge they will not conduct any interview for the ASI post as it had not done before,and in this forum one of guy got call before 2 months from the Police station for the security clearance so i think they have completed there clearance procedure. also gave the same test and no result yet. any one who has received the call or letter for clearance or joining please share with us i will be very for the others who are still waiting for the result.Please seniors if you Know any thing about the ASF selection procedures than please guide us in this regard.

I want to share the sucurity measured related some types,I'm writting in detail you can take the points which you want:

1. How many types of security?
There are 3 types of security, (i) VIP Security, (ii) Security of Government Strategic infrastructures, (ii) Escort and Prevention.
2. What is VIP Security and its types?
VIP Security is an important security for any group or troop who is deployed to do so, it can be either indivisual or group of VIPs to be secured, security provided to VIPs to their routes, Resting areas, among public gatherings etc. There are 3 types of Security duties performed by the personnels in VIP Security duty, I. Inner Quarndon (Inside the building or area in O shape, surrounded, II. Outer quarndon, the outer ares of Building, helipad etc its also in O shape. III. Isolation: Its very important duty of security measures, the personnels who does this Isolation duty will be in Plane cloths like they are the people of public but they always have eye contact with eachother and surrounded around the VIP, and in dengerous condition there duty is to take VIP away at safe place.
3. What is Escort?
It is a type of protocol, Escorting the vehicles or the relly etc with armed force i.e. Police or Rangers.
4. What are the Govt Strategic Infrastructures?
Railway Bridges, Television centers, Radio Stations, Power Plants, Gas Storage Units, Gas Pipelines, Railway Lines, Water Cannals, Rivers, Banks etc are GSI.
5. What an ASF Officer do if he finds a weapon in lagguage?
If He/She finds weapon he/she must ask for the valid Government of Pakistan Licence and it's permission to carry with. If victim provides, he/she can be allowed to carry with issuence of ASF Director or senior official's letter and the weapon must be sealed. AND if the weapon is illegel then he/she will go through the Judicial process according to Prohibition of Arms Ordinance 13/D etc.
5. If a person seems in incredulous condition at airport what an ASF officer can do?
ASF Officer can arrest him/her if he/she looks like in incredulous without warrent.
6. Does ASF has the same powers and duties like Provincial Police has?
No, because provincial police is bound to work for the security of people living in there station's jurisdictions even there houses and there assets are under the observation and security of Local Police, but ASF is responsible for security of the people and the airport for there duty times (chek-in & outs).
