Hello Dear,
You should surely apply for that with full motivation. You've time to prepare yourself for test. The pattern is not like of CSS pattern. It would be easier than that because in it there would be only MCQs of 100 marks.

Is it for sure that there will be an mcqs type of paper of only 100 marks in all? And any guidance for what proportion will be given to different subjects?

It is not a only MCQ paper but there are 2 papers 1 of essay and other of GK with some mcqs and 3 or 4 discirptive questions on current affairs and GK.

hi.
it's salary will be accordance of 17 scale. and test will include MCQs of general knowledge or maybe lil bit logical or analytical questions.

Those who were inducted as ADs in 2004 are now Deputy Directors and are drawing salary arround 30k to 35k.

One of my uncle is DD and getting above 50k salary :/
Well its not about salary, I am not taking it for monetary purpose, I am just thinking should I apply in this age or not, I have time, i can apply later as well, if i apply now then chance are not pretty good to be succeed :P

NOTE: I am motivated and sadly over confident Just dont want waste the attempt and earn a tag of failure

Yar the thing is, I am over-smart guy, just don't want to waste the attempt, as I am young, i can appear for the next time, say what? I am looking for your answer.

Other thing is, when the exam will be conducted? I mean after how many months? any guesses?

Oh yes I havnt asked him about joining year, well Raz Sahab, can you just guide me from where to start? errr I sound like dumb na? :P

I mean any good book where i can start my journey? Or What should I read for test preparation?

Anyone on the form who can conduct my English language test? am I good at writing e.g. essay or grammar, I would appreciate if any person conducted a simple/complex test (Online/Text/Email/Face-2-face)

CA (Current Affairs):Opinion based approach.
GK: Token type questions
Essay: CSS standard


Dawn, GK book, and English Grammar Book are sufficient sources.

Your english is reasonable to clear this exam. Don't worry.
Polish your stances on national as well as international issues.
