Exclamation Post of AD(ISI) 2010: I have lost my NIC

A good freind of mine, living in Karachi is also preparing at the moment along side with me to appear in the MoD exams.

However, he is hit by a most unfortunate tribulation; he was mugged a few weeks back and lost his original CNIC along with some other documents in the incident. obviously he requires his CNIC to appear in the exam. He has applied for a new one but has still not recieved it as yet. he has the Nadra slip wit him.

I have suggested him that he should take his Passport and copy of CNIC to the exam. maybe the concerned people will let him apper, as the purpose of the CNIC is the verification of Identity, and the same can be done via passport.

help my freind dear forum members. He is very disheartened and belongs to a middle lower income group. it realyy upsets me to see him this way.

Any sincere advice towards a logical solution for his delima will be appreciated.

jazzak Allah khair.

Here is the landline number of Ministry of Defense, ask your friend to contact them immediately.

Alternatively, he must bring both his original passport and NADRA slip to the test center.

same with me....... i also lost my wallet...... original CNIC.. driviling license ... and other important docs lost....

Fortunately i have my previous expired CNIC with me.. + i have copy of FIR + and will apply for new cnic ... so will get slip of it.....

I don't think that it is a big problem...... they just want to varify the identity of person applied for post and person sitting in the exam ....... so cnic copy, passport, driving license . or other docs will do the work........

so tell your friend don't worry.... and keep other photo ids with him at exam centre...... my previous experience tells that people at centres are reasonable........ so chill

Default Thankyou all

Dear members,

its great that you all are so helpful and concerned.

Well, i phoned the MoD on behalf of my freind but didnt get any responce, I'll try again tomoroww.

@ Shahid, Seems like this is a typical problem with Karachiates, Ive been mugged myself 4 time now , due to the ubiquitous nature of these street crimes we've grown quite immune to them... sad...

My dear freind even requested the decoits to atleast give him his CNIC back but they only replied him with a knee in the ribs.

Thomas Jefferson said that the only thing evil needs to prevail is that the good men don't do any thing to stop it.

thanx once again all of u. kind regards, god of war...........
