Post of AD(ISI) 2010 : Few questions about paper checking
Criteria of Checking Papers.
Was wondering about the criteria involved and had some questions. Q1: Who will check these papers? FPSC or Defense personnel? Q2: Will each paper be checked by more than one checker and marks be allotted based on average? Q3: What is the merit? Is it pre-decided or will be decided later on based on quality of the overall result? Q4: If a candidate reaches the final stage of selection i.e. Interview, will his total marks in different steps be of any consequence? Or the marks attained in each step of selection will become redundant in the next stage? Meaning if a candidate clears step 1 that is only his passport for the next step and similarly marks in the 2nd step will only propel him to the 3rd step? Or, in all the steps, previous marks will be kept in view by selectors? kind regards, god of war........... |

Quote:
2. Checking and rechecking will be done. But MCQs will be checked by computer. 3. Those who'll score more than 60% marks in each paper separately, they'll be called for psychological test etc. And who so ever will score more than 60% in MCQs, only his subjective paper will be checked. 4. Passing one stage is just only the passport to the next step. Previous test marks will not be counted till the final stage. These stages are just the steps of stairs, who will reach the top after qualifying all, will be the winner.

ISI Papers cheking
salam,
well, as according to my information this year papers were different from previos one. i apeard in last year exam and qualiified the written exam along with psychiological but since then i dont know whether im pass r fail. anyhow, its papers are chked by thier own profesional who are well experienced and as our friends posted above there is at least 60 % passing marks but it also depends on the said quota along with the marks got by candidates also. sometime candidats get 70% marks but are not called for further tests. anyway, i dont know the current passing formula but one who gets more than 60% marks has a chance to b called for psychlogical which takes cosidrable time. so wait with cross fingers till then . regards shahid khan mohmand
