Default Few Questions

I have few questions regarding Recruitment in Ministry of Defence (MoD) as Assistant Director. I would like Comrades to shed light on this issue and give their view of things.

  • The advertisement for invitation of applications is in name of MoD, but everyone applying, knows and believes that these posts are for iSi, which is a secret organisation to the extent that it has to conduct Covert operations, therefore secrecy is a concern to some extent, thus if the recruitment is to be done secretly therefore MoD is mentioned instead of iSi, then how come everyone knows that its iSi?

  • Having not mentioned iSi anywhere, how do they expect people aspiring to join iSi, to know about the fact that they can be recruited by appearing in a certain examination, or to know even about the fact that civilians are also inducted in this organisation?

  • Why is the procedure so prolonged that it takes more than two years to complete, which is obviously out of proportion with any other examination system, even the secondary education boards of remotest districts of the country, announce the result well within three months, while the MoD takes one year to announce the result of only the written part. Can we assume that MoD's administrative capability is far less that of even the secondary education boards, or is it intentionally done, if so what is the reason?

  • Why are failed candidates not made aware of their pass fail status. In any examination either the candidate fails or he passes, and its his basic right to know about his result and that is what examination bodies do. What is the logic behind, MoD not letting failing candidates, know about their result?

Do u know: the no of strategic organizations working under the Strategic Planning Division (SPD) e.g. NDC, NESCOM etc. However whenever these organizations advertise for recruitment every one even knows that this specific advertisement is relevant to which one of the organizations of SPD on account of their specific P.O.Box no. and designation structure as well as the terms and conditions and requirement of specific capabilities by the candidates.......................................T he same story works with the ISI recruitment.

The identification of advertisement part replied above. In addition to that this is the guess work for this post based on past papers but its not true always e.g. in the last written part there was no paper of Essay and new change of introduction of MCQ's paper in the written part. Few years back the civilians inductions were made through FPSC, this fact cannot be denied.........

This is humorous to compare the ISI induction process with the education board where result in declared without individual security clearance as well as no need to cover up the needs as demanded by the intelligence agency selection.

in this regard.........I think ISI want through this way to encircle information to the limited concerned people.

Well I need to get one more question answered and that is Why do they recruit civilians in iSi when it is supposed to be Inter Services Organisation and they already have well trained Armed forces personnel readily available for all kind of services and majority of this thing even the head is from armed forces then why do they want to share the feast with Civilians!
