ASI n Guards Interview in ASF
 

Any one knows when interview will be held for the posts of ASI n Guards in ASF....IF Anybody has related info.plz share here.....thanks...

I got verification from ASF & now i got call letter for Personality Assessment Test which will be on 30th december.

ASF Officer told me that Psychological test & interview will be on the same day.1st of all,ASF will provide you Psychological test sheet.In Psychological test,There might be some sentences to check your mind presence & approach.Either it is positive or negative.It might be like ISSB(But only a bit,Not full ISSB type)There might be incomplete senteces...[SIZE="2"][COLOR="Blue"]e.g[/COLOR][/SIZE].Army is ...... department..[SIZE="2"][COLOR="Blue"]SOLUTION[/COLOR][/SIZE]..Army is disciplined department.There might be questions like..[SIZE="2"][COLOR="Purple"]Answer the following questions in YES or NO.[/COLOR][/SIZE][COLOR="Blue"]Do You lack self confidence?[/COLOR][COLOR="Blue"]Do you often change your interests? [/COLOR][COLOR="Blue"]Do you like working alone?[/COLOR][COLOR="Blue"]Do You prefer reading to meeting people?[/COLOR].....etc..After few minutes or 2,3 hours,there will be interview of candidates.....[COLOR="DarkOrchid"]NOTE:[/COLOR]It's random information of a senior ASF Officer.In psychological test,they can ask various questions e.g...there might be a story writing for given picture & etc.

Yes dear u r right.....there might be a psychology test they will check ur IQ level n relationship between personality and various academic behaviors.
The Big Five factors are: .Openness (inventive/curious vs. consistent/cautious)
Conscientiousness (efficient/organized vs. easy-going/careless)
Extraversion (outgoing/energetic vs. solitary/reserved)
Agreeableness (friendly/compassionate vs. cold/unkind)
Neuroticism (sensitive/nervous vs. secure/confident)..and in the last there might be panel interview.

shortlist further? After taking it how much time it will take to join or joining letter?

personality test main incomplete sentences complete karne hote hain urdu aur english main ex. knowledge is............. ? in urdu Maderse humain................? aur is ke alawa ek do stories ate hain us positive likhna hota hain , words screen pe dikhate hain 10 second k lea phr us word pe sentence banana hota hai one thing important in this test TIME.

I don't think that there'll be more than 2 INTERVIEWER in a panel.Because we are going to be interviewed for the post of A.S.I which is only 9th scale Job.
However,it'll be a normal interview.Because we are not going for CSS/PMS Interview But don't take it too easy because there'll be many candidates & if you want your allocation than You'll have to excel your potential.
In interview mere one's knowledge is not checked , one's personality , seriousness for the job ,one's expression and communication skills are seen along with condfidence. If one is prepared and one's communication skill and expression is good , confidence creeps in by itself.

1:- Good & Clean Dress.
2:- Intoduction......I mean,How will You introduce Yourself.
3:- Qualification & City of Origin.(A brief Description)
4:- You should possess some knowledge about National & International Burning Issues.
5:- How to Control Energy Crisis,Terrorism,Extremism & Corruption(& what are root causes of these issues)Give solid & reasonable arguments.
6:- Your favourite books & Personality.(Also tell Reasons for liking them)
7:- Hobbies & Aim of Your Life.
8:- Your strong & weak points.
9:- General Knowledge(e.g. Nmae of Capitals of Countries.Name of Important security agencies & organizations..Like Interpol...About their headquarters,abbrevations of such Organizations.(Because we are going for ASF interview)

1:-Poor personal appearance.

7:-Lack of planning for career, no purpose or goals.
8:-Lack of confidence and poise, nervous, ill at ease.
9:-Making excuses.
10:-Lack of maturity.

Hello Pals
My interview was on 12 march in karachi.
It was so simple, there were three member panel. They asked me only personal question ' What's your father, source of income, number of sister and brother.
Then they asked why do want this job?
And in last they asked about expected salary, I said I want this job first then salary. But they said tell the amount , and I said sir Within 20 to 30 thousand..
but when I inquired about the salary of ASI I was surprised because it is 16 to 18. So I am now apprehensive whether I'll reciev offer letter or will have to wait for good..
You guys dont need to worry!

And as I entered in the room , I had just tread two or three pace they questioned " Mustafa you are M.P.A( Masters of Public Admin) " I said yes sir I am and I am quite capable of doing this job then he said " no you are over capable" I said no sir .
What makes me upset is my salary amount which I mentioned...
Now can anyone comment on my this apprehension???? senior
