Default Districts in Gilgit-Baltistan
Basing on their official website, there are seven districts i.e. Gilgit, Skardu, Diamir, Ghizer, Astor, Ghanchi and Hunza Nagar.
Chief Minister, Syed Mehdi Shah, announced the establishment of Shigar District in the Baltistan division of Gilgit-Baltistan region in March, 2013. Shigar is now the 8th district of the region. Do not know if they have announced the creation of the ninth district or not. Someone from Gilgit-Baltistan could assist us in this regard.

I got it, Kharmang is the 9th district of GB, announced by Mehdi Shah in mid 2013. So there are nine districts in GB i.e. Gilgit, Skardu, Diamir, Ghizer, Astor, Ghanchi, Hunza Nagar, Shigar and Kharmang.
