Post Study Plan for AD-MoD Post.

Assalamu-u-alaikum,
Here I am posting my chalked out plan for preparation. Seniors and all other members are requested to critically examine it and mention any shortcoming or area of study which i am missing.

If we look into past papers of AD posts (2006, 2008 & 2010), we come to conclusion that the paper mainly revolves around three things.
1. Pakistan's Foreign Policy
2. Pakistan's Internal Problems
3. International Issues. (I am ignoring this aspect because of time constraint)

Starting From 20 Februraury:

20 February:
Pak-US relations
Pak-Afghan relations
Pak-US-Afghan Trio (from all aspects)

21 February:
Pak-China relations
China-India relations
Pak- India relations (MFN, Border Tensions, Siachin issue, Non-Discriminatory Market Access status)
Pak-China-India Trio (Strong China-India economic ties and its implication on Pakistan, type things)

22 February:
Pak-Iran Relations
Pak-Iran Gas Pipeline Project
Iran Nuclear technology- a danger for world peace?
Pak-Russia Relations

23 February:
Water Disputes & rising water crisis in Pakistan.
Indus Basin Treaty and Violation by India
Geo Strategic Position of Pakistan and its future viability
Importance of Gwadar Port

24 February:
Drone Issue
Legitimacy of Drone programme
Sovereignty of Pakistan
Is drone attack counter productive?

25 February:
Democracy in Pakistan
Energy Crisis
Corruption and Accountability

26 February:
Extremisim and Terrorism in Pakistan.
Sectarian Conflicts.
Suggestions to manage political stability in Pakistan.

27 February:
UNO
OIC
SAARC Vs ASEAN.

28 February:
Education emergency
Food insecurity and rising cost of living
Poverty
Global warming

1 March - 8 March: Revision of all topics + MCQs.

I have taken help from the below mentioned thread while chalking this plan, It may help you for making your own study plan or to get data links.

http://www.cssforum.com.pk/css-compu...ss-2014-a.html

For MCQs:
I am preparing just PA+CA+GK+EDS+Isl+English MCQs.
No, Maths+Analogical reasoning.
Seniors and fellows, what do you suggest is it Ok?
If Not, then which book (Please suggest a single book) which is good enough for Maths and analogical reasoning questions.

Any Criticism, correction and suggestion is most welcomed.
Keep me alive in your prayers.
Regards,

@ ali ahsan

You've done a commendable job. I wish you stick to your plan and get through this exam.

@evergreennaveed

You are right but time is not too short to make preparation thoroughly. You may take guidance from the relevant threads of this forum.
Similarly if you've free access to inter net you may explore some of these, if not all, topics and have a fair idea of different events

What has passed is what we name as past. But the next 17 days are still in our reach. Let's make the fullest use of this time.

Good luck.

Default @all

All those who are asking that 'How and from where to prepare these topics'? I will suggest them to get notes of essay and current affairs of any good academy. Time is short. It is nearly impossible to collect data and rewrite them to make your own notes.

It is my own opinion, I am not discouraging anyone. If you think you can make your notes. Best ov luck.

For those who are looking for ready made notes. They can get them from 'CSS current affairs' group on facebook. It is Open group, so just type in search and you will find it easily. Notes of Kips academy and all others are posted there. If you look into relevant sections of this forum, You will also get loads of info already posted here. Nevertheless, This Maxim stays relevant that 'Self done is best done'.

Regards,
