yeah, this is right, Emaan e Mufassil was in my mind at that that time though, but still i opted 5, dont know why,,

I have some confusions regarding the paragraph writing of the MOD test. They asked write the it of just 300 words but the demand from the examiner was too vast that it seemed impossible for me to complete the para in just 300 words. So I foccused upon the mentioned 20 marks and the hints and kept my self writing. At the end had to use the extra sheet as well now am thinking would I be punished for it ?

Some wrote in more than one para. There isn't any surety of anything. Anything can happen. Precis but mingling of ideas in a single para was asked to write.

@amnakhan That's exactly I was thinking. Restricting to 300 words was very difficult. But there's no way you'd be penalized for writing more than 300 words. As far as someone follows the rules of paragraph writing and doesn't write unreasonably too much! i think it must be okay.

I tried discussing all the important points in 300 words, believe me my paragraph looked too weird !!!

Writing two paragraphs is a blunder when only one paragraph was required and a para should also not be ridiculously long, i think.
(by the way, there is very very scary hailstorm rolling in faisalabad)

I think its very big mistake by all candidates who wrote multiple paras...as one was required with 300 words...I am afraid but ''it was clearly asked''...(because there is hell difference between a Para and Essay)...it was real task(adhering to what examiner asked) and trick to screen out candidates...I think credit will be given to who wrote a para with almost 300 words...exactly relevant to outlines...rest ALLAH the Sovereign knows...be optimistic and pray for all...i.A

its what you write that matter, in a paragraph you have to summerize the main idea so that it explains the relevant matter.

In addition, if we would right 300 words, there would be no need to use extra sheets, still the NTS invigilators had extra sheets?? why was it so??

The idea they had asked candidates to discuss were more detailed, and they need more than 300 words explanation, i think its a dicotamy, a tactical blunder both by MoD and NTS, one wants the idea of candidates thinking about issue and the later one wants to limit the ideas to 300 words for their own sake, so that they could check the written response quickly.

So the people whom had written more words, paras its not bad and those who managed to make the responses limited to 300, done right.

Now the only difference would be made by the "Test Checker", that how he would mark the paper, most probably he would have to check mini essays instead of paragraphs

Well sentiments have nothing to do in exam brother...its not about copying or seeing...even if we consider it then paras are of almost 30-40 lines...and it is what was asked...when clearly asked write A PARA then why would any sensible person write multiple paras...strange!

Yes brother SimpleOne you are right it was blunder by NTS and MoD at first...I mean outlines were Ocean and we were asked to flow them in a River ...I think they should not have asked for A PARA and words limit should be like 800 almost...
