Default Need guidance
Can someone please guide me about pcs exams like when is the exams held? What is the criteria for different posts? And is it like css like after qualifying exams we chose our group or is it different in pcs? I don't have any information on it but my father wants me to appear. so i am tring to know what exactly it is. Any information and details would be highly appriciated.

Are you from Punjab? In Punjab, there are two types of exams conducted by PPSC these days: one is PMS, second is PCS. The first category PMS is held after 2, 3 years and there are 12 papers like CSS, but the syllabus is different from that of CSS. On the other hand, PCS papers are 100 marks papers usually and these are conducted for different departments jobs. The BPS also vary from job to job: 14, 16, 17 and 18, etc.

So, kindly tell which are you asking about? PMS, or PCS? Secondly, What is your qualification at present?

Yes, I am from pubjab. I want to ask about pcs. I have done BBA (hons) and currently in the last semester of Mba.

Okay! keep in touch with http://www.ppsc.gop.pk/. The Commission announces jobs almost every week or fortnight. Check the advertisement and requirements for the eligibility. If you find eligible for any post related to qualification, apply online, take test and if you pass it, you will be called for the interview.

For preparation, you can consult Caravan Publishers' encyclopedia of General Knowledge authored Ch. Najib Ahmad. This will also broaden your g.k. Also keep in touch with Current Affairs.
