Another wrong decision of non recruitment of DSP/SHO's
Owing to present security situation and challenges of a country, it is vital to restructure the organization with empowered highly qualified new officers otherwise the system will remain stagnant. It is a sorry picture that the decision of direct recruitment of DSP /SHOs has been abandoned because nothing can match the quality and level of education of young and experiences lot presently existing in our country.
Chief Minister has to analyze the situation and go for the right decision of giving an opportunity to young as well as experienced youth to change the system and they will surely because I know some of the Inspectors hired during 1998 who not earned name in their department but also contributed in UN missions abroad with sincerity and loyalty. Recruitment of Sub Inspectors will not bring any change due to their position and nature of job. Further, Qualification should be master with experience fro DSP and Inspectors as Graduation ---- Age 30 + 5 years general age relaxation ---------- Experiences people should be given chance because they know the social and corporate problems from the root level and also the solutions ------------------- |

Dear, I agree with your stance, but the old police officers did not allow the recruitment of DSPs and SHOs due to their old thinking trend , fear to their performance lacking in the profession . we can see from history that ASIs has been recruiting since a long time but they could not change the system. Trend should be changed.. this recruitment is not going to be more effected for our society......

Police high ups have unjustifiably opposed the direct recruitment of DSPs, They fear that young poeple will not manifest as much subservience and submissiveness before their PSP bosses as do the rankers. These old people are true refelection of police culture and no change can be expected from them.
I suggest you guys to raise the issue in press. and this imporatnat suggestion should not fell victim to vested interests and wrong beliefs.

let me tell u why DSPs are not recruited directly. as after the specific period of time almost 8 0r 10 years, they are eligible to be promoted to the rank of ASPs. then they are to face opposition of ASPs selected by CSS/PMS exams. CSS/PMS passed ASPs say that they have been selected after a tough examination. how can these Ranker DSPs become equal to them.
