Thanks for the kind words brother. As i said earlier the reason put forward by IGP are unjustified and absurd. He says that Directely recruited DSPs will be corrupt. How ridiculous this contention is, It is established fact that Young People always change the culture. If given chance, these young people will take time to get themselves absorbed in this police culture. What i know , currently the SDPO serves as link between Police Station and highups of Police such as DPOs, RPOs.They after having served for years better know how to please their PSP bosses , how to channel gratifications etc. Obviously youg people wont do this at the out set. This is the only reason of opposition.

Besides , in almost all departments of Govt -be it Federal or provincial- There is quota for young entrants up to BPS 17. Then why not in Police?

These facts must be brough in the notice of CM by writing letetrs in News papers and voicing your concerns at other fora.

I suggest you guys to raise the issue in press. and this imporatnat suggestion should not fell victim to vested interests and wrong beliefs.
What's more even the directly recruited Police Inspectors proved themselves to be a problem for their PSP bigwigs as they fought a legal battle against the hegemony of PSP and wrote joint letters to newspapers against PSP(the Inspectors rightly called themselves Khaki Makhlooq and labelled PSP's as Noori Makhlooq in these letters). Therefore the suggestion is a bitter reminiscent of this past experience for PSP vested interest grandees who don't tolerate such kind of cheekiness.

IGP is surrounded by these old thinkers that's why he gave this statement. actually these people don't want to change this system n they know youth has power to change this system n this thing is in their mind that youth is less corrupt then these OLD MEN.. so this is the main reason n CM will prefer IGP's recommendations
