Both are easier for smart people. its only the determination where one utilizes one's talent. however, if one answers it simply, then yeah you are right, PMS is a bit easier only because there you have more chances of allocation than CSS, where competition is comparatively more. otherwise, there is hardly any difference. almost same syllabus and level of question papers.

Regards

i don't think so. if you can't do css then dont think about PMS. i told you its your determination which matters. you are capable of achieving whatever you wish. dont underestimate yourself.

han agar ap css dena e nai chahti then go for PMS, ic soch p mat choro k PMS ker logi or CSS mushkil hy. never, ever think so.

hope you would have now understood.

Default hey

Both are competative exams and both are tough enough and by the way its not child's play to pass competative exams.

no i think CSS is tougher than PMS of Punjab province as i have seen many people of forum like Mr Tassawer, shikwa, Bilal Hassan others have passed it, so i thought it might be easier, actually i just want to pass a competitive exam and tell my papa and all others that i have passed that exam...so that they are proud of me...

You all please tell me that if not CSS then i can atleast do PMS...???

the guys, you are talking about also have passed CSS, Shikva has passed CSS twice.
It's not a logic that lot of forum members have passed PMS so its easier.. on forum,CSS passed members are more than PMS passed members.

comparatively... If you are not good in English language than PMS is easier as in PMS you have choice to attempt papers either in English or Urdu but on the other hand many aspirants consider PMS GK paper more tough than CSS "CA" . PMS composition paper is easier than CSS but marking in PMS composition was tight this time ( as majority of candidates failed either in GK or in composition).

In both of examinations you need knowledge and information of same high calibre. I personally think to pass PMS is much easier than CSS (because passing marks in PMS is 33/100) but keep in mind competitive examination is not to pass its to compete, If you just want to pass it then 20 to 30 days study is more than enough but if you want to compete than you must add some more...
