NO,Sis it doesn't mean that I am not willing for ETI I discussed about it in order to seek better opportunity,many people said to me that I would repent after leaving food department but I didn't care and appeared in interview as far as supervisor is concerned I liked it just for convenience but it doesn't mean that I am not ready for work I know that ETI is a reputable job and opportunities are not availed again and again,I have been recommended against a permanent post after 3 and half years struggle.

I am to ask if I join as an ETI shall I have to appear in PMS to become an ETO?

No...:shy you can become ETO without appearing in PMS but promotions are very slow in E & T department. You should appear in PMS 2014 , if you want to get direct appointment as an ETO.

@usmanmirza: Same like other jobs, a letter will be sent to you from concerned department, asking you to submit your medical fitness certificate that you have to earn from your respective DHQ (Hospital). You have to submit it to the office mentioned in the letter and finally you will be allocated or posted to the department. Be patient, it may take 1 to 2 month more in your posting.

Join Excise inspector job and after that concentrate on Pms exam preparation and removed amiguities and shortcut from your mind regarding ETO post without Pms exam.You are so hardworking and rely on hardwork.

this process will take one month time. You will receive offer letter within 15 days from the Director of Excise & Taxation of your concerned region, then you will submit your acceptance within seven days with your medical fitness.
They will also demand police and degree verification which you can submit after joining...:)

PPSC is autonomous body... There will be no delay... PPSC has dispatched letters to director general excise and they will sent them to their respective divisions.. please wait....

and, can a female candidate join her afternoon classes at Old Hailly college, PU Lahore beside her job?

I am getting this all information for my colleague which is working in Board of Revenue, Punjab as a computer operator in (BS-12) on permanent post. The office of BOR is situated in Old anarkali and the University is at walking distance. In Board of Revenue (BOR), there is no burden of work. Therefore, it is so easy to join classes after job.

Now, She is selected as E&T Inspector for Lahore C Region and permanent resident of Narowal District. She is very up set and request me to seek guidance from experience one.

She is doing MBA (Finance), now in 2nd Semester, and she also told me that studies are primary preference for her.

Now, keeping in view the above situation, i am requesting for guidance.

Dear, I have been also selected from lahore C region and as per my info E&TI job is very flexible and she can easily attend her classes in evening.But there may be only one issue that there are extreme chances of posting outside lahore so this may create problem for her.

It depends upon the availability of seat in her district, if there is a vacant seat of inspector, she can simply request to the director to appoint her in her station, if not then she has to work in out of the city. Usually, ETOs don't send female inspectors in field and give them post transaction or un feeding work.( the case of Multan & D.G Khan female inspectors). In both cases , she can continue her studies. say her to wait for her further orders from directorate of excise & taxation of her concerned region.

Please contact to the directorate of your concerned region and ask them about the current status of your offer letters. They will give you the concrete information. Sometimes, clerical staff delays the orders and further postmen don't deliver mail on time.

There was a rumor that one of the reason of delay was that PPSC is verifying the domicile of aspirants for Lahore region A&B; it was apprehended that due larger number of vacancies in these regions, applicants might have tried to obtained more than one domicile!
But still nothing can be said with certainty.:unsure:

PPSC does not disclose written marks but my guess was round about 85.I didn't prepare specifically for excise test but I appeared in CSS 2014 with full preparation and on the bases of that I passed written test.In the interview I answered most of the questions except the ones related to Excise department.Earlier I failed in PPSC interview twice.Exceptions I noticed in last interview from previous unsuccessful attempts were level of my confidence and serial number in the interview list.I was the first one to be interviewed by one of the two panels in Rawalpindi.

When Sahiwal and Faisalabad result is expected.....?

Aur ye bank challan kahan se milega inke advertisment pe tou likha hai k ye ye documents la k sindh secretariat mai jama karwa do koi bank challan form nahi ic mai.

Brother, I hv been srlected through ppsc exam but in your case inspectors will be selected by the concerned deptt not through sindh public service commission so I dont have any info regarding this scenario.
Or jo apne source wali bat ki to meri info or experience k mutabik public service commission me koi source nh chlta but apki hiring deptt khud kr ra h to isk bare me kuch keh nh skta

:dd These people are jealous. Do not listen to them. A clerk and constable will assist you. You can get off by mutual co-operation. You just have to focus on recovery. You can also keep in touch with your studies, if you really want to continue it with your job.
