I have skimmed through compulsory papers and now started Public ad in detail. Would you like your preparation strategy regarding Public admn?

That's good, dear. As I had P. Ad already for CSS, I felt so such difficulty. I consulted Dr Sultan's both books, also consulted Jahangir's book of P. Ad by Asif J. Mir. Somewhat took help from net and newspaper.
What about the Compulsory papers? especiallly G.K? Which book have you consulted for Pakistan Studies

Please, Share in which area or topics you are facing difficulty? It's a fact that Dr Sultan's book lacks in some key areas of the recent exam trend and especially for PMS. Here the syllabus is lengthy and time-consuming but it can be managed well in short time.

Regarding concepts' understanding and memorization, the best way is to follow this strategy: Whenever you sit to read a topic, keep a pen and register with you. Underline the main point or the sentence, you think, the crux of the paragraph while reading. After the topic is completed, write the points (10-15) lines. Write only those that you have underlined before. But try to write them in your own words briefly.
You will not face the difficulty in memorization any more.
Regarding the book for Public Ad except Dr Sultan, the answer is Jahangir Publishers's Public Ad book by Asif J. Mir. It's an exam oriented book. You'll also find Previous Papers Qs at the begging of each new new topic. It also has past papers' Solved MCQs addition with the expected MCQs for each topic included in CSS. Don't read the subjective part of this book from A-Z. Just read the material that is not there in Dr Sultan's book but it'll surely help you a lot.
