first you should bring your original documents of matric, f.a, b.a, m.a, domicile.
original i.d card
photocopies of all these.
mobile phones are not allowed

there are 8 panels of english
mine focused on grammar and language

there were four people in the panel
when i entered

1st lady asked: your name?

from?
your education?
i said m.a but she meant from matric to m.a so you should tell them from matric to m.a

1st: what is the difference between defiance and defeance?

2nd lady: theme of button button? as i told them i am teaching intermediate
2nd : any particular novelist?
me: thomas hardy
2nd: what have you read?
me: the return of the native
2nd: any other?
me: tess?
2nd: what is tess about?


3rd man: what is a modern woman?
3rd:was eve modern?
3rd: what are homophones?
3rd: what are homographs?
3rd: difference between "row" and "row" ( different pronunciation as one is fight and other is rowing the boat)

4th lady: correct it
he had gone to karachi yesterday.
and
child is asleep.

that is all.

it was 2nd jan.

one more thing be confident all the panels are not asking anything out of the world, simple basic things that we skip in our tension go for the difficult one. do not panic they all are human and understanding. i was really tensed so i could not answer the simple questions, so do not take it on your nerves it is not a do or die condition. trust yourself and be confident.

i could not understand that and lost my chance

First of all, thanks for sharing the interview details and i think that nobody can say how was his or her interview went. Hope for the best. Once a senior professor told me about his interview experience that he couldn't answer most of the questions and also the panel said that he is not born to teach. But the reality was that he got selected with good position.

Finally, advise something more bcoz my in interview is just ahead.

my interview was on 3rd i could not appear confident they asked me following questions which is your favourite field in lit.i told novel they asked me about joseph andrew,passage of india character of sintigo do you like poetry i replied to some extent. what do like then short story . who is my favourite writer one diect and indirect plz pray for me i am not satisfied with my answers

be confident what i have observed they check your confidence and communicative skill so whatever you are going to answer, answer it in elaborated and precise way it is antithesis but it is the key

a few tips
first of all knock the door open it and say: may i come in
having entered the room say pleasantly asalamoalaikum
then they would ask you to sit down say thanks
they will ask you to introduce yourself, now here you can make a way for yourself. at the end do mention your favourite genre or writer or any particular work using words like:

and i like reading Ibsen or
and i like drama the most or
i have learned from the old man and the sea a lot etc

whatever you will say their questions will be related to that

used words appropriately as i while commenting on button button said:
it is about modern man and modern aches as norma shows the selfishness of modern women i wanted to say modern man but it was slip of the tongue so sir asked do all the modern women selfish? i got confused coz i have said women instead of man means humanity .... so i said no not all but it is related to a particular culture of a particular society...... so their next question was what is a modern woman? it was that word which caused me a huge trouble
