Jazakumullah khaira.

Mam, I am not talking about the preference of B.ed over "masters". I wanted to know that those who have done B.ed are either preferable to those who haven't done it or not irrespective of having masters degree. Actually, I came across a thread in this forum which states that government has made B.ed compulsory for commerce lectureship. So, I wanted to know the reality that to what extent this news is reliable and true. I guess if it's true then it will come into effect for the next posts of commerce lectureship.

Well, thanks a bunch mam for throwing light on your preparation. Best of luck.

Stay blessed.

Regards.

Mam, one more question, is it necessary to have a B.ed degree or not for government's lectureship ? Actually, many people told me that recruitment prefer those who have done B.ed over others.

i didnt do b.ed & my two teachers of Economics who were appointed as govt lecturer two or three years before also dont hold a b.ed degree. they did only masters. I think b.ed is necessary for School Education. But its better that you do b.ed as recently subject specialist jobs of ppsc have come but i cant apply for them as i dont have b.ed degree
