Default information about " sp jail " ?

Dear ,

First of all calrify that it is not " SP Jail " . It is SJ meaning Superintendent Jail.As for as prepration is concerned it will be a paper of 100 marks and subjective in nature. There will be certain questions ( around 8 ).From these questions you will be required to attempt five questions.Questios will be basing on the prescribed areas of study ( as mentioned in the addvertisements that peoplr from these disciplenes can apply ony ).Questions will not be out of these disciplines. For these see the addvertidement again.
Second important thing is that youmust be aware about the hirarchy oh this department. That is as follows :---

1 :- IG Jails ( Inspector General Jails )
2 :- DIG Jails ( Deputy Inspector General Jails )
3 :- SSJ ( Senior Superindent Jail )
4 :- SJ ( Superintendent Jail )
5 :- DSJ ( Deputy Superindent Jail )
6 :- ASJ ( Assisstant Superindent Jail )
7 :- Head Warden
8 :- Warden

Feel free to ask any question in future.

Default Clarrifications ....

Dear ,

1 ) As I tlod you earlier that thae paper will be Subjective type. There will be no questions of GMAT type , no questions from any kind of ordinances or laws etc.Tgere will be only around 8 questions of 20 marks each.Paper will be of 100 marks in total.Precisely we can say that we will be required to write 5 essays of 20 marks each in alloted 3 hours.Questions will hover around the concepts like
Juvinile delinquency , socialization process of individuals , criminal behaviour , how to improve individuals , General prison management , how we can improve the condition of prisons in pakistan , is present condition of prisons satisfactory , Socoi economic problems of akistan etc.

2 ) It is the post for which a specific criterion is laid down.we can take an example that for the post of civil judge only LLB degree holders are allowed to appear.it is just like that.Superintendent Jail is meant to superwise the whole jail , he has to look after that legal matters , he has to deal with the criminals on day to day basis so the requirements are set to fit the purpose. They require that a person appointed must be aware of one of the concepts atleast to have a good start.

3 ) as for as promotion inthis department.it is slow generaly .A person who comes directly at Superintendent Jail level goes to the position of DIG jails at least.

I have tried to answer your quiries with the best of my knowledge. If you have any doubts or you want to ask any further questions you are free to ask.

The test for SJ posts is objective type. THere wud be 100 multiple choice questions n there will be negative marking. 0.25 marks deduction wud apply on each wrong answer. It wud be purely objective type test.
