Any one can tell me About Deputy district officer revenue?is it under css
?its responsibilities,authorities & salary?

YAH...MR.saeed
i cant tell u much abt it....all i know is that Deputy District Officer(DDO) of revenue comes under the District MAnagement Group of CSS...the same post is given who pass out PMS(provincial management service)......as far as responsibilities are concerned ,......its the revenue deppt....meaning the land & property is ur area ...and revenue collection n stuf....dun know exactly myself even...some senior CSP's be bettter able to guide u....salary ...as per my knowledge...CSP's usually jus a lil more than Rs15000 per month...hoever it varies frm grp to grp and deptt to deptt.....Hope it helps...

Its under CSS, and thats for sure however, these posts used to be announced in Balochistan, so they may be announced through PMS too!
NOTE:Recently through an amendment in rules PCS selected candidates can go for revenue and establishment and not for FINANCE....

DDO(R) is appointed at SubDivsional Headquarter.Previouslt they were called Assistant Commishnor and had Adminstrative authority as well.But aftr devolution Assistant Commsionor authority was devided between DDO(R) and Tehsil /Town Nazim.Now DDO (R ) has revenue authority and s/he also serves as Sub Regestrar to administer and authorise Registered Deeds.Many DDO R s are also given the charge of Special Megstrate(Price)
DMG officers are normaly Appointed as DDO(R),DDO(Colony),DDO(REG) as these posts carries equvalent status.Howevr many PCS/PMS Officers are also working as DDO(R).
