Post Bodmas use

Every test contains at least one question related to this formula

BODMAS stands for

Bracket off division multiplication Addition Subtraction

Example:

Let us see how we will solve this question which contains all mathematical operations:

5+5-5*5/5=5

Always follow these steps ist / then * then + and at-last -.

A problem that involves different operations ( parenthesis/bracket, division, exponents etc) the operations must be performed in a particular order. an east way to remember the order of operations is to memorize the following sentence.
Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Selena
this stands for Parenthesis/brackets, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition and Subtraction. i-e first of all solve the operations enclosed in the parenthesis. then exponents, then multiplication, then division. then addition and in the end subtraction.

Another concept is of MEDIAN.
MEDIAN :
If a group of numbers is arranged in order, the middle number is called the median. but if there is no single middle number ( in case of even number of times) then median can be found out by taking the arithmetic mean of the two middle numbers.
Example : the median of 6,8,10,12 and 14 is 10. Because there are total 5 numbers and 10 is the third number i-e in middle, so it is median.

Example : the median of 6,8,10,12,14,and 16 is ;
10 + 12 / 2 = 22/2 = 11
So 11 is the median.

Next topic will be Prime Numbers.

15/3 = 5 Odd Integer

But 13/3 = 4.33 Not integer

v. Division of an even integer by another even integer may not be an integer.

44/2 = 22 even Integer

but
34/4 = 8.5 not integer

In maths section these topics are important, quantitative comparison, average, percentage(very important),ratio n proportion(very important and somewhat tricky )probability(difficult and tricky),algebra(easy).only these 6 chapters cover whole maths part)Best book for maths part is smart brain NTS GAT book by
Muhammad Idrees, use another book like Barrons GRE book(old edition, maths section only)as a refrence only, maths part is not so much difficult,it requires practice and practice,if anyone is very weak in maths,he should use all resources along with book like hiring a teacher,or through skype or youtube maths lectures

Maths part is not difficult at all, only requires a little practice daily,30 to 45 min practice is sufficient.Maths questions should be solved through formulas(5 to 10 important formulas are sufficient)or solve through common sense. For screening test give proper time to all subjects
