Passing criteria for Screening Test 2014
Passing criteria will not be like 40% or 50 %. As far as i am informed, the criteria is going to be set as follows
Passing criteria will be different for different provinces according to their Quota system. E.g if there are 35 posts in balochistan then FPSC will call aspirants for the main exam as : 35 * Specific number of candidates(either ten against one post or 20 against one post as it is done in general recruitments by fpsc) according to the merit of screening test (Balochistan domiciled) no matter whether balochistan's top student gets 40/200 or 30/200 i hope you guys would have understood what i am trying to say. |

Yes, it may be the case. FPSC apply the same principle in other jobs as it calls only 5 to 10 candidates for 2 to 3 seats after screening test.

almost confirmed ( but any change can be expected by FPSC at any time) .
this procedure seems to be relevant and appeals common sense... suppose all the candidates belonging to balochistan get failed in screening test then how will be the quota system justified. thats why i think fpsc has decided to do the screening in that way/ |

Is that mean if KPK has 25 seats , then it might be like 20*25 =500, or if 10*25=250. So will they be only accepting 250 or 500 candidates for kpk to be in Written test? Its alarming as only 2000 to 3000 from all over pakistan will get entry to written test only.

I feel screening doesn't mean creating a merit in its initial most level
The reduction of candidates in this manner is going to make it too difficult for people get to the final written exam. Even if it's for provincial quota, still people shouldn't be discouraged in this way by creating such a strict merit. Atleast 5k candidates must be given a chance. This too, will reduce 50 percent of candidates in the written that will reduce the burden manifolds on the FPSC
