Kindly cast a glance at the published syllabus for screening test.
English portion vocabulary
Everyday science factual knowledge
Mathematics (algebira (formulas) )
General knowledge current affairs who is who what is what type of knowledge
etc..
And it is based entirely on MCQs pattern.

This is truly a best chance for crammers to get through.

I endorse your view point. See, those targeted would get furious over this

Dear, passing criteria is not yet clear. That will decide the number of candidates who would appear in the subsequent written exams. Many a members have said or referred that the passing marks are 33%, well with this criteria and the syllabus the idea of screening test is just a trash for the planners. I believe it won't be so. Time will tell this so let’s not pass ghost guesses and let’s stop saying or suggesting anything on this process. Let’s focus on what needs to be focused.

Avoid regular use of "Netspeak" or other "cute" grammar or spelling (For example: writing "R U a woman?" instead of "Are You a woman?")

There is obviously no doubt about that. The stress in our education system is on English, competitive exams are no exception and fate of many people is decided on the touchstone of the two English subjects i-e Essay and Composition. I am sorry to say even that criteria is flawed, the people with extra ordinary prowess at English language fail and those with pathetic skills in English get allocated in coveted groups. That's why i have no faith in these competitive exams as these do not evaluate the candidate accurately, so i am highly skeptic about their validity. These exams are mere arenas of luck and chance.

Brother.this is not a fair evaluation. We should not blame the examiners for our own mistakes.Had CSS been a matter of luck only, people would not have spent years of hardwork to qualify it.

in my opinion, so for luck is concerned, we people do unjust to ourself, by inviting our inner lions to the comfort zones.
Luck works, after we do our best by hard work.
