Interview for CCE is mix of discussion regarding various issues of sindh/pakistan and token questions. Sometimes they ask token questions from GK, Islamiat, Pak affairs, sindh and optional subjects too. |

Good job! So what you think, which sections of books are necessary?
|
Good job! So what you think, which sections of books are necessary?
For covering history of sindh Molaai Sheedai's buk JANAt UL SiNDH is a good piece. To cover current issues of sindh read monthly sindhi magzines like affair, peghaam, saarasvetc. For g.k there are many books in market, consult an authentic one. |
I think its like revising everything what we prepared for exam. It includes Sindh+CA+PA+EDS+optionals.
Have I missed anything? |
Can any one name the concise book on Sindh history in English?
I think we have to focus on all aspects of interview i.e. Knowledge and Body Language. For interview knowledge in not important but the expression to deliver that knowledge is important. Retaining, common sense and divertion is prerequisite to pass interview process. Interview must be from these four sections: 1. Knowledge/Information from Compulsory and Optionals. 2. Current Affairs (Analysis & one liners). 3. Information about Sindh (History & Geography) 4. and most important one is about bureaucracy and about the advertised posts i.e. duties and functions of AC, Section Officer, ETO etc. Any other relevant information is welcome in this regard. |

thank you for guidance. Is it better to join some academy for interview preparation? If yes, which are better at hyderabad and karachi? Regards |
I would like to know if any of candidates present in Lahore from Sindh who passed the CCe 2013! I suggest to make a pool and start preparation of Interview by knowledge sharing and group discussion. Half or an hour per day will be beneficial in this regard.

Any successful one residing in vicinity of Mirpurkhas city?
|
i think one should join academy for mock interviews only.one of my friends from hyderbd told that a panel of some csps and pcs qualifiers have been conducting mock interviews for free.
First we should prepare g.k, sindh and optionals properly then should join them.Aspirants with history of sindhi literature as their optional will face tough time during interview. |
Dear fellows, first of all I congratulate to all of you who have qualified written part of PCS. Several fellows will finally pass the interview and will formally join the provincial services groups as per their merit cum choice.
I qualified PCS 2008 exam with first position and joined Ex-PCS group in 2011 as Assistant Commissioner. I want to share some points of my interview which might be helpful for you. 1) Interview is all about communication skills so you need to have good communication skills. With good communication skills you can convince and motivate anyone and can sell your idea. 2) Choose dress properly. It should portray you as an elegant person. 3) Be confident (not over confident). 4) Don't look frustrated. Few of you might desperately be needing that job and trying very hard (during interview) to get it but during all these efforts you may not answer the questions properly which can lead you to disqualification. 5) you must have information about current national, regional and international major issues. (for this you can refer any leading newspaper. Read its international pages for current information). Unlike CSS, PCS interview is random and their is no fix recipe to qualify it. However with good knowledge, communication skills and presentation you can qualify it. I wish good luck to all of you. Take care. |

Thank you for info. But to me, its quite silly to ask about area of different countries from candidates instead of questions which can help in assesing candiddates ability for job in question. |
oh that is why i said very strange spsc. in the end of viav when i said members have a nice day to you sir they said me that why you said so. you are getting our sympathy. And they Failed me in viva.

Haha....that was quite unprofessional approach. I think they already had made up their mind before the interview if that was the case. such questionanhave nothing to do with anything practical. But thank you for warning us. Regards |
