I had my interview few days ago but couldn't manage to post it due to some urgent job related responsibilities.The environment was very relaxed and interviewers are true gentlemen. They seemed to have a list of questions already prepared according to the background and optional subjects of the candidates. My interview was purely based on the analysis of Pakistan and world economy. The asked theoretical as well as practical stuff regarding the economy of Pakistan including a thorough discussion on Monetary Vs Fiscal policies in different eras and their effectiveness in eliminating core economic problems such as Inflation, Poverty and many others. The formulas for calculating GDP and determining its deflator and CPI etc were also among those petty questions asked by Chairman saab.

From Indian History (Optional subject) they discussed the policies of different mughal emperors and their contributions to the society. There were many petty questions regarding dates and names of different emperors’ and their nobles along with serving officers were asked spontaneously during the discussion. Similarly many questions were asked about different personalities and names of the writers of the books as well. Further more from Islamiat they discussed about Abbasi rulers and dates of their regimes.

All and all it was a good discussion and the ratio of my responses to their questions was 65 % -70%. Especially few bouncers of Abrar Mirza were really un playable and I left them without any hesitation.

I am sure you are gonna hit century as per your interview. Plz let me know your optional subject . Have u economics in optional because they asked very typical question regarding the economy? let me also know your interview duration and No: of questions they asked.

Thanks ada but nobody knows who is going to hit the century!! SPSC exams and examiners who mark written scripts have always been so unpredictable that one can’t say any thing about the final allocation. What makes me so pleased is their will to uphold merit and determination to induct meritorious class into the bureaucracy. Exactly Economics is one of my optional subjects along with Indian History and Islamiat. I spent almost 40 minutes with interview panel and they asked not more than 20 questions.

Dr. Khushik and others please let the forum know about the toppers of CSS from Sindh Rural (Irfan Samo etc.) who also passed Combined Competitive 2009. Did they appear in SPSC interview for wasting the vacancy or showed some sanity?

Irfan Samo(R) has had interview on the same day when my interview conducted but he did not appear . Another competent friend samiullah shaikh(U) has not appeared in the interview as he has got DMG through CSS .I tried to know statistic that how many CSS pass candidates did not attend panel ?but could not know the exact figure .If any body has solid news he may share.

well friends i do n,t know the exact no of css qualified candidates appearing in spsc interviews but i do know that on 26 jun i.e my inerview date..
three css qualified were to be interviewd out of them one did not turn up while two were there.Both of them got commerce and trade group, i had chat with them.They just chose one option in allocation form i.e d.e.d.o.
and before that an income tax officer doin his training also appeared in interview..
