Local department of sindh is totally corrupted and they will nothing asked from you without your name or documents because, one friend of mine has given interview 22nd dec at HYD they just asked name and say good bye this is our local dept sindh,

brother, your friend is right. i also went to district council office of hyderabad for intview for the posts of chief municipal officer, tehluka municipal officer and asstt executive engr . there was intview based on first come first serve basis. peoples were colliding with themselves for entering in interview room. they broke door of interview room also. there was no discipline among people and intview taking authority. when my turn came, they took documents from me for tmo and cmo posts. intviews of doctors and engineers and accountants were being taken in separate room. i also went to that room where one lady officer asked two questions diffierence b/w conductor and insulator, compressor and condenser from me then she took documents from me and kept them aside on bundle of other documents and thanked me.
this was scene of intview at 22 december. the district council was looking like fish market.

Please if anyone knows about the current status regarding interviews at Local Department, Govt. of Sindh. Please share with us.
I also gave the interview on 2nd Jan. 2012, but still found no feedback from anywhere.
Also one thing i want to ask here is that they only took our documents at the time of interview, so how would they contact us? As no phone number or address mentioned on documents (except CNIC). If they have to send a mail by post, should they follow CNIC address? In short, how would they contact successful candidates.
It is a kind request to all of you, if anybody knows about something regarding status of the interview, please share in this forum.

Some candidates registered constitutional petition in high court sindh bench sukkur against direct interviews of posts of chief municipal officer, tehsil municipal officer,etc taken by local govt deptt sindh.
Sindh high court bench sukkur processed their petition thru two hearings and received evidences from both sides and then saved its desician which could be announced in next hearing and these posts may be readvertised thru sindh public service commision.
We pray that court will announce desician in favour of petitioners and merit in the sindh will win and corrupt politicians will lose...

brother, i read the above story which i posted here, in daily Kawish. Inwhich it was said that high court sukkur bench saved its desician that would be announced in its next hearing. i dont know about date of next hearing, hopefully it may take in this week or next week. if court announces its desician in favour of petitioners then those posts may be readvertised through sindh public service commision so pray for court desician in favour of petitioners and stay in touch with newspapers especially daily kawish.

In Daily Kawish dated 23-2-2012, it is written that Sindh high court sukkur bench announced desician that intviews taken by local govt deptt sindh are illegal and appointments on the basis of these intviews are illegal. Local govt board has no power to conduct tests/intviews for the posts of bps-16 and bps-17.
That's why these posts should be readvertised and intviews should be taken according to rules and procedures.
It is not mentioned in kawish that which authority will take intview either local govt deptt or sindh public service commision.
I watched same news in headline of KTN news channel in which it was said that court ordered for taking intviews again according to rules.
It means these posts will be readvertised through same deptt soon and again intviews will be taken.
There may be some merit but most of post will be filled through political corruption.

Brother do you know when will we they re-advertise the jobs and the interview will be done by department it self or through any commision system
