I think there is no need for last character certificate but to be on safe side you can get your certificate now. This will be only an option to avoid any inconvenience.

Spelling mistake in Name in PST Test
 

There was spelling mistake in my younger brothers name in PST slip,at the test day he asked NTS official to correct the spelling.NTS official said that on Data Form you must write correct spelling then it will be corrected in NTS data.But when result was announced the same spelling mistake was in result.Now how this issue be solved so as he may not face any problem in appointment process???

I couldn't understand what you want to say dear.
There are separate seats for general and science category. Those who have passed on general quota will not be considered on science quota even though one has got more score. Those will be appointed which are residents of hte UCs in which vacancy exists.

Dear if it is minor mistake then its not a very big issue because NTS result also contains CNIC number and father name of the candidate. But its better to contact NTS officials again and notify the correction you want in the name alongwith proof.
