Question query

Dear Friends and Seniors,

What would be the expected pattern of GK paper, as in 2008 there were two questions of descriptive nature and rest were MCQ`s. while in earlier exams it is totally different.

so in what manner we have to tackle this paper. either preparing for MCQ or preparation may be done in descriptive manner..???

eagerly waiting for response in this regard.

Thanks

Dear Its a big surprise on behalf of SPSC when paper pattern of G.K including all compulsories. G.K paper was a baggage of descriptive plus objective one. 2008 paper comprised of MCQ's and descriptive question (essay).

So you won't be surprise if paper contain half portion of descriptive question and half MCQ's. There is no predictability of the paper pattern. But one thing is for sure of you cover current affair themes along with shopt descriptive question then you can coup up with the paper. Generally G.K contains

Every Day Science (Biology, zoology, physics, universal facts)

Current affair themes:
Pak-US relations
Pak-Afghan relations (US departure from Afghanistan in 2014)
Indo-Pak relations (In context to kashmir)
Provincial autonomy
International and National Institutions (UN, SAARC, NAB etc)
International and national Personalities (including renowned personalities from sindh like ubaid-ulla sindhi, mohammad mian soomro, GM syed)
World facts (population, ports, news agencies, regional organizations, sports)
Administrative & geographical division of Pakistan (and Sindh Specially)

Islamilat
Basic information about Holy Quran, Hadith, Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H), Pious Caliphs, Gazwat and Saraya.

A little info about Sindh History (Dynasties like Soomra, Samaa, Arghun .....)

The course of G.K is pretty lengthy and one has to cover it on daily basis. That is why I started the post but no one is interested to continue the thread.
