Attention CCE 2013 Candidates
A new process has been started by SPSC to check whether all 2813 candidates are appearing or not appears to be an act of sycophancy.
This is unbelievable. Are they checking the number of candidates willing to appear or they are really that much pathetic unable to extract the record of candidates from application forms submitted back in 2013? I am sure a new petition will definitely be filed. Such a poor institution I have ever seen in my life. Here is the press release : http://www.spsc.gov.pk/Press_Release/scan0032.jpg |

Quote:
1. Since 4 years have lapsed since you submitted application form, most of the candidates may have changed their mailing addresses. 2. Secondly, they requisitioned limited photographs to issue admission slips only, with no forecast of such a delay and re-conduct of the exam. So they are right in this action. |

Agreed with TheInnovator, we should not always be playing conspiracy-theory sagas... spsc has removed the foremost apprehension by announcing the exact number of candidates(who can be verified any time by matching the current ones with old lists)... secondly it seems natural to ask for photos to re confirm postal address and re issue the admit cards as there has been hiatus of 5 long years... therefore my brothers and sisters we should rather now keep our focus on preparaction as not much time is left... good luck

There's another perspective, what if they want to plug extra candidates in place of ex-candidates or those who have forfeited? With the new list, they'd know for sure who isn't going to appear for the exam. Next, all they'd need is to give that roll number to a crony. Done.
Last I checked the commission didn't care much about making our lives easier. Also, they already have all our details; addresses, phone numbers, photos. How do think we got our intimation letters? Those addresses could have been vacant, did they call the candidates to inquire? No! By the way, reason we were being asked to bring our admit cards was because our photos were on it. So this makes this exercise redundant and should be a cause for concern. It would be utterly naive to think otherwise. @Sana Siddiqi has it right...

If someone manages to get the list of 2813 candidates appeared in April 2015 will inevitability foil the malafide intentions of SPSC.
Will appreciate if someone works on it and share here. Considering credibility of SPSC in the account, I am sure this exercise is only being done to check how many candidates are not willing to appear offering SPSC a legitimate way to adjust politically motivated aspirants in the selection process. SPSC is on right track, it is far better to intimate candidates to avoid unusual precipitation. At least I appreciate their endeavour for the noble cause. Being part of this exam for ages, we should facilitate them so that they could retain ongoing recruiting process at ease.
