Guys do full research and then decide where to go !! In my opinion go 4 bank al-habib, as it is a PVT bank and you'd be having more opportunities for to learn and groom.

Well final decision is yours , and both the options are with their pros and cons.However i may help you to provide the relevant information.

Bank Alhabib is a medium sized bank , though its financial position is strong enough.The MD Mr Abbass D Habib is closly involved in running the routine affairs of the bank.Overall culture of ythe bank is known to be good , client-age is specific and contary to other private banks there is not huge pressure on the field for business development.

MTOs are hired in Asistant Manager Cadre with salary range of 25000.Being small organsation with branch portfolio of around 100 , there is less chances of horizontal or vertical growth .

Given the uncertainity hovering around the overall economic landscape of the country in general and banking industry nothing could be said with conformity regarding future. As in other private banks, the average annual increment has been reduced to as low as 3 to 5 pc per annum.Currently the banking industry is striving hard to cut costs and HR is one of the major area in this regard.The captalist (Saith) owning a major share in Pakistan's banking industry is concerned with nothing but profit.So future growth in uncertain in given circumstances.Though current environment is good specifically in Bank Al Habib contrary to other Banks , there is no guarantee that it will persist forever.

An other benifit of joining Bank Al Habib is no restrction on swich over.One can leave any time.

As for as NBP is concerned, it is the largest commercail bank with Govt of Pakistan being its majority shareholder.MTOs are hired in OG11 and after six years they are promoted as AVP , given they qualify JAIBP.Initial salary is around Rs 37000 with annual increment of 13 pc minimum along with upward salary revision from time to time.Besides, medical for self,spouse,kids and parents is availble on bank;s account.Apatrt from this, there are three fixed bonuses, one performance bonus, profit bonus and welafere fund that range from 25000 to 35000 a year.

Job security is highest , exposure is great with in country as well as oppourtunities of being posted abroad across 29 countries where NBP Branches /offices are operating.

However , MTOs cant leave the organisation before five years.Political influence is there.Overall environment is conservative cum bureaucratic and you may find little Independence in doing job. On occasions, one may be restricted to perfor good if it is against status-co.

2) What is the path to reach AVP in BAHL?
3) Is bank offer any bonus in a year?

1-I dont know the amount exactly , but it is not more than 25000.
2-There is no post of AVP in BAHL , as their organisation structure is differnt from other banks, especially large commercial banks.
3-Yes they offer bonus
