@ all, i am worried why we waste our time in useless discussion instead of starting or sharing GD. its better to start GD so that we could have fair idea how it goes on

Lets initiate the preparation for GD:

Topic: why Pakistan gave tittle of "Most Favorite Nation (MFN)" to India, why not other neighbor countries or SAARC member countries or WTO member countries?? instead of long term disputes with and grave threats from India??

Contribute with healthy discussion.

Default Argument for GD

Its a good step. There are economic reasons and justifications for this. Why did Europeans nations flourished after they were completely destroyed by WW2. But European separated their political issues from economic ones. Even today, many European nations maintain same political relations like those of India-Pakistan, India-China, US-Iran or Iran-Saudi Arabia. But, when it comes to economic relations, Europeans set aside their political issues and integrated into Euro Zone. Pakistan has used the strategy by keeping political issues aside. India has large population and Pakistan can take potential advantage from this by boosting exports.

there are obvious reasons for that, first of all india is econmically stronger that any other neightbouring country. second it is favorite country for trade because of long border. It is cheaper to export goods on the other side. it will build a trust relationship b/w two countries that is very much important for the solution of Kashmir issue.

The reason behind giving this status to India and not other neighboring country (China already has the status though ) was India expected opposition to EU trade concession . In order to pursue India, Pakistan made negotiation and offered them MFN status which they were interested for very long. They had given Pakistan MFN status in 1996. So it was give and take approach.

As far as the long term disputes etc is concerned , in the modern day economies, they are usually sidelined when it comes to trade. One example is that of India and China who are growing trade, despite having grave issues, and benefiting a lot. Another example could be of China & Taiwan.

agreed to your valuable points share here, but one thing i want to ask to you and all members that pakistan has recently surrendered cricket worldcup to india that was almost in the marginal access of pakistan to win but media added political intrest behind that given up? it may be counted as sacrifice.

besides that, no doubt, 1996 india entittled pakistan with MFN & now pakistan and india are under new project, TAPI Pipe Line Project, but do you think that extra ordinary contribution of pakistan will lose her weight against India?? can both go in long term peaceful contract/deal?

i don't agreed with all of you guys opinion coz china is the much stronger than india infact china is the next super power of the world due to its remarkable success in the economic world and i think china will not be happy on this issue of MFN and they help a lot pakistan on many issues, on the other side india is not going to be happy by giving them the MFN title bcoz they are not going to be the friends of pakistan at any sacrifice by us. As they are stronger in economic field it will be good for them i think this issue is the effect of american interference and Pakistan Army is also angry on this issue with government.
As our political parties could do any thing for USA.

I agree with rjunaid, China may have mind the Pakistan's decision of providing India the status of MFN. China has been helping us in all aspects in order to stabilise and boost our economy. Infect Chines Government is also interested in elimination of corruption from Pakistan and has also invited some of our well known politicians in order to discuss the issues. Since political stability and corruption free counties are the one to attract foreign investment, thus China is doing it level best to help Pakistan stabilise itself.

What has India done for us...?
