I have a query. In the interview letter they stated that we need to get the original certificates as well as attested photocopies of the same. My interview is on the 16th and I have no idea if Govt offices would be open tomorrow or day after due to Qadri's long march, and hence I'm not sure if I can attest the photocopies.

In the worst case scenario if I cant find a Govt officer to attest my copies in the next two days, is it okay if I just take the unattested photocopies?

Yes i think its okay because some people were even getting their documents photocopied at interview venue. How they could be attested then !

but there was a lady from ypip first batch at sbp karachi who checked our documents, she told: ypip is generally mistaken for a relax job. She was from rawalpindi, and told she had to sit as late as 9p.m sometimes(worst case). She could not recall a day, since her posting in karachi back in september, when she could leave office before 7p.m. Views regarding the time one has to be in office and the load of work are quite contradictory, when accounts given by different people like you, she and one other forumian here are compared.

Don't worry, attest it from any one. Any one. And in the case, you don't get a chance. Just take photocopies. They will attest them self as you would have original and they match every documents with original. I, by mistake, didn't attest my CNIC and Domicile. They simply matched them with original.

I still havent gotten interview call. Scored 76 marks and I am from Islamabad. What should I do if i dont get the letter by 16th because the chances of that are very less because of the stupid long march

I already have mentioned that they are calling people alphabetically. Probably your name is late in calling list so don't worry. They will call every one. Here, unlike SBOT, no issue of degree etc. Not only they will send a letter but they will call you too. So don't worry even if you are afraid that your letter may get late due to any reason. Even I received the letter in last.

I am not sure but the guy in SBP told that the very less number of people have qualified the test and many of them either won't clear the test or will not join so there are hopes for waiting list candidates. I also have not been called for SBOT due to Telcom engineering even I had 84 marks.
