@ Taimoor Gondal

Dear, are the S&P 500 studies such as Piotroski f-score, magic formula and Trending Value Portfolio have any efficiency in KSE?

Many people say that KSE is highly manipulated market so are these S&P studies/strategies relevant and good to be applied to KSE?

when market is stable, these studies are relevent and helpful to some extent but to rely solely on these studies can cause a disaster. For blue chips these studies are applicable...

Thanks a lot

What criteria(s) you would consider to sort blue chip companies from other companies?

I was doing job in a brokerage house. I was not an investor so no profit loss. I had left the job due to some personal reasons.

Guys:- If you really want to invest in KSE, just invest 10 p/c of your money. i.e. if you have 100 rupees in your pocket, start this trading with 10 rupees.

Best Companies which deserve to be invested in are:- OGDC, PSO, Shell, PPL, POL,MCB, NML, DGKC, Lucky, Engro, ATRL.

Good Luck!

Which broker do you guys think is the best one. How about KASB securities, initial investment is 25000 and as far as I know they provide free research plus their commissions are reasonable.

And which strategy do you guys prefer. One should consider holding share for a long time or he should trade frequently if he get even a minor profit.

KASB is a strong group. Check the commission rates of different brokerage houses and pick the house with lower commission rates.

Booking your profit is a good strategy. You can trade frequently if you are getting profit.
But as suggested by Invincible, you should not invest your money at once. if the prices go down then you should have a buying power or in short you should have money in hand to buy at lower rates.
Make levels of buying shares. suppose rate is 50 rupees and you buy 500 shares at this price, then you should have money to buy more shares at lower prices. You can make levels like... 500 shares @50, the other 500 @ 48, next 500@46 and so on..... You should have investment for five levels in order to be successful. You can make these levels according to your investment or your capital.
same is the case with selling. sale at a difference of 2-3 rupees. This procedure is good for small investors.
