Now forget about the Second interview, because Karachi candidates have been interviewd today, i got a call today from them and they said you were qualified but your contact number was not working....therefore you missed it... Ab ham kahe tu kia kahe....Ye koi tariqa tu nahe ager may qualified ta at least mje email ya dosre number par try kerna chye ta.....Pehli baat tu ye k mera number off ta e nahi

From which number did you receive the call? From which digit did it start?

well i am amazed if they did this to you, but on the other hand its the bank policy to just call one time and if there is no response they have to move on. But your point is also valid that candidates have wasted enough of their time and money and they should atleast deal us guys like proper professionals....

I'm also from lahore but i hvnt rec any call yet...I'm anxiously waiting fr their call...if anybody hv any idea abt abt it plz do share

I received a call from a PTCL number, which i had already saved when i was called for initial interview through that.....and got shocked when they said interviews have been done and you are now out of it because you were absent. This is a serious HR flaw, contacting through cells is ok but not the formal way and networks in Pakistan are really not reliable...at least we should have been informed through emails too as we were informed for initial interview. and then I had also mentioned an alternative number in my Resume clearly, why didn't they try me on that. Now If Network was not ok on that moment and didn't get a call does that mean I am not capable for MTO....Does that mean my test and initial interview which i had qualified were useless and are of no value.... i moved from 700 KM away city to Karachi twice for test and Initial interview and spent thousands of rupees during my stay there....How can I be rejected just because my network was not working..... Even one may be out of town, or on picnic in areas where networks don't work on that particular day when they were informing on cells as the day is not fixed of when will they inform. Does that mean that candidate is going to be rejected? Won't he be informed through other sources or leavr a message for him.... just can't understand what to say for this

Looking at the thread, it seems that interviews are done in North and South region, now only the central region i.e lahore is pending because no body has been called from this region.

If interviews in the south region have been conducted, why don't people from the South Region share something about it to confirm Khalil's claim?

Khalil if this actually happened to you then I am truly sorry for you my friend. You don't deserve this.
