well i have question to the senior members or the persons who have been appeared for banking test that i have GRE book to prepare the maths and english section is THIS BOOK IS GOOD or enough for prepration on not?

plz reply me....

thanks
In addition to this, Barron's GMAT will also be helpful, Actually Maths in GRE is much easy as comapred to GMAT, so according to my experaince GRE alone will not be enough if competition in test is tough.
There may be portion of Gen. Knowledge, for that Newspaper and 'Who is who , what is what' of Doger will be beneficial.

www.sbp.org.pk is full of Financial gen. knowledge, i thnk they will upload Annual report 2010 by the end of this month. That report will help u alot. In the mean time u can read reports of 1st 3 quaters.
For other type of general knowledge English Newspaper are best source. Especially 2 months newspapers back from the test date.
I have experinace according to following break down. vary from test to test.
Airthematics 70%-100%
Algebra 10%- 30%
Goematry 0% - 10%. (Very rare chance)
U should have the knowledge of formula's reagarding Area and Volume of different geometric figures.
For English section Again Enlish newspaper and Barron's GMAT will b benefical.
Every bank have different pattern of english, u will recive sample paper before test from that u can hav idea of pattern of maths n English portion.
Now a days essay writting is not part of bank test, but if essay is comming in the test they will tell this thing in sample paper. so dont worry about pattern.
Wiah u good luck.

a bundle of thanks for reply...realy thankul to you

@bilal713

what are chances to bcome a part of banking sector for the ppl who have done final degree in Copmuter science or Information Technology,as i checked that in ABL MTO they only require mba, mcom, mpa or mba in finance/banking ,only selected degrees in MANGTMENT SCINECE, so after typing my bachelor drgree(b.com) i have no other option to select the master degree so, i didnt apply for the abl mto becoz my final degree( MIT) was not listed there... i want to know that all the banks only need mangment ppl???

answer ll be highly apprieciated.
