Yes, i too gave the test at Karachi center where once it was cancelled and then new time in the same day was given..

in my view they didnt even imagine that this much of people will come for the test as this news was circulated internally whether fortunately or unfortunately this internet and sms will let this spread like fire and this much of people appeared in test...and i wonder whose going to check these papers..

Mismanagement on Meezan's part. Example of short sightedness. Extremely poor planning.

They wanted a short cut which has badly flopped.

Normally, banks solicit applications through proper procedure i.e. advertisement, scrutinize the eligible candidates and call them for written test. In this way, they know the expected number of candidates and they can filter out the ineligible candidates in the very beginning. This exercise helps institutions in arranging: Sufficient seating capacity, adequate number of invigilators, stationery, question papers and answer sheets. This bank failed to provide you capacity and logistic support due to improper procedure of Job openings. Initially they circulated it internally and after its wide publicity due to internal leakages they posted it on their website in a less prominent corner which was hardly visible to new visitors. They did not forsee such a great influx of jobless candidates.

Walk in Interview Test was a bad idea for a entry level bank job with such a huge number of Jobless literate population.

You are right!!
but i would like to mention that in last week even Standard Chartered arrange a walk in test for its GTO program but they did it superbly and without any problem all the candidates there gave test in a comfortable manner.
So I think walk in test procedure isn`t that bad if the any bank or company do it professionally and In meezan case, its totally their mis-management and we can`t put all the blame on the process!!

Let me correct you. Standard Chartered GTO was only for sleected Isntituions/Universities like CBM, IBA. Whereas Meezan Bank MTO Program was open to all candidates throughout Pakistan and they conducted test in multiple cities.

Besides all of these i want to discuss some things i reached there at 8 45 and test started on 11 i am very good in maths i can solve confidently all these stiil i cant i have done just english portion completely the paragaraph demends atleast 5 mins i know all the answers of g.knowledge on this forum but ma na para hi ni in sub ko detail sa mujy samj ni ati k meezan bank na kaya soch k 50 marks k test k 30 mins rakhy IBP k test ma 100 marks k liya kitna time hota ha do the management at meeazn konw this nts ma kitna time daty hn quo ya log educatedand unemployed and frustrated candidates sa asy joke karty han test is v easy but why the time is just 30 mins ager unho na pahly sa source pa selection karny the to ya karny ki zaraorat kaya the is sa to yahe zahir hota ha k koi clear hi na kary test chahy kisi ko aia ya na aia

Management test centre ma jitni b poor ho atleast candidates ko is bat pa to hosh hony daty k pura din lagaya effort ki and test b acha ho gaya
there must be atleast 50 mins for the test asa test to kabi online ni hoa

yeps ho gaya hai 8 spetmber ko hua tha and mujhay b aik hour pehle he pata laga tha to main foran he test k liye chala gaya tha

and i m from KU and still I was eligible for the test even though i didnt make it to the list of candidates for panel interview but my friend made it and he gave 2 interviews there and now he is waiting for the final list

but SDC managed the walk in test very well unlike meezan bank!!

i called meezan head office to enquire about the job which they have again posted on their website with same name but the apllying date is 2nd oct............... and they even themselves didn't have any information about that unhain khud sy nhi pta tha k unki website pe job upload hui ha

thats another example k un ki management kitni achi hai

between the only positive thing which I experienced in MEEZAN BANK is that every morning, In their branches they recite few ayyats from Quran with translation and I really liked that
