yap u are right,, same sort of things happen to me In mCB tbo interview Mine interview was almost too long till 10 min i was hoping for beast as me known long interview is + sign. but then i came to know MCB tbos. 40 a 2 has been hired and those hired who were son/daughters of presnt empolyes,, thats what matters,, Again at Nbp me had long interview Excpt one acdemic Q whch i was unable to ans,, M hoping for gud again,, MAY ALLAH succed Us ALL

at rawalpindi center they did not even asked a single question u have to answer
1 name
2 martic to last degree %
3 any distinctions
4 any job
5 preffered place of placement


and 1 or general questions frm some candidates like
what ur father does?
why banking?

Dear i am ex-Employee son of NBP i see in lhr center there were only 3 or 4 boys which were employees son from all over pakistan there are 307 boys and girls who are in final interview if there are 15 employees sons then what are our chances ?? plz if any one have any information than plz share is there any specific number of seats for employees sons and daughter

i also had same experience of MCB..they took a long interview of almost 10 mins..but at the final stage they didn't call me..so don't know about the exact reason..altough interview went well from my side..but i didn't have any reference in MCB..same is here now, i dn't have single reference in NBP..but in NBP's interview they didn't ask about reference kind of thing..there were all written questions as one of the member has described above..so i'm still hoping for the best about Interview result..

me was interviewd comprehensively

40 A went well at mcb but 40 A2 was a formaility and final selection inlcuded son/daughter of Branch mangers or avp etc, one of my class fellows was also in them,, hopefully NBP would be much better then them, and i observed in GD they were not prefering any one like current employement, school you have graduated, distinction u got, they just Strict to GD performance and selected thats what good organization do, hope for best and best of luck

apart from Qs written on paper i was asked followings:
Impress me
whats kinzaynes modal (i was unable to ansewer)
who was adam smith
what currenr ratio intrprets
srtenths
whats ur father do
extra-cocuriclr activities
again asked preferd place depite i ans before on written paper
also panel was keen to make Qs out of my ans
thats awl. me was unable 2 ans 2nd q listed :-(

there is no preference for employee sons except age relaxation of 2 years. you have to pass test , GD , interview.
