still i say,you took a right decision, not to opt for og-1, but at least interview sa yeh experience hOta k OG-2 mai kya prepare karna hai aur kese face karna hai.. Besides, this is a forum yar, esko itna serious mat lo, log life ko itna serious nahi letay, jitna tum logo ki batho ko letay ho, tum nahi 79 score kiya, mai nay 86 kiya tha, but score ki bat nahi hai, baat yeh hai ,who is in and who is out, and we both are OUT. even i dint get a mail.
I was planing the same what you were, but what wrong went, is YPIP. this is perhaps not our fault. So just relax, and prepare for upcoming interviews.

For OG-1
Pre-Induction Training
Selected candidates shall be required to
undergo 4 months “Applied Focused
Theoretical Training” (residential) at
National Institute of Banking and Finance,
Islamabad campus, prior to induction in the
SBP BSC (Bank). The trainees securing
prescribed marks in the tests will be offered
appointment in Salary Scale of OG-1 and
will undergo “Supervised Hands-On
Training” of 4 months in different
departments of BSC and in selected
commercial Banks and DFIs.
Compensation Package
After induction, Officer Grade-1 selected for
SBP BSC will be paid an initial monthly
salary of Rs. 16,481/- in the salary scale of
Rs. 16,481— 47,850. However, BSC’s
employee, if selected, will draw their usual
emoluments. In addition, free medical
facility for self and family, loans and other
benefits as per Bank’s rules will also be
available.
