This was absurd. Math portion is gonna be game changer. Math questions were too lengthy to read let alone to solve them. Plus the test had specifically bank related questions which was injustice with non bankers. IBP shouldve made a general test

Well, if someone noticed it was written in the instructions
That calculater is allowed but IBP admit card made the joke out of us by writing that calculater is not allowed.. That was really absurd.. With calculater I would have qualified as other potions were very easy.. Anyways.. Good luck to those who will.. Ciao |

I have given quite a few papers over the years and have always had hopes up in terms of passing.
This paper, however, and especially the math section calculator mix up, I can say for certain that I cannot pass. But it was fun nonetheless! Good luck to those who had a calculator and were allowed to use it!

As for the Karachi centre, calculators and mobile phones were not allowed past the entrance gate. A security guard was checking every individual (at least males) for such items; I could've easily gotten one past through him if I really wanted to.
Either way, most people didn't carry one and neither did I. There was only 1 lad (in my classroom of 20 people) who had a basic calculator in his possession; when he asked to use it though, the faculty member told him not to use it, despite his claim that the instructions clearly allowed him to use one. All in all, I personally did not see anyone using a calculator; but with so many test centres and so many individual rooms, I am sure at least 2-3% of the total candidates must've used a calculator and even if half of that number of candidates pass the test because of it, they'll take the vacancies for the post anyway. IBP's error for sure. Challo the weather was good and I got to see a few old friends so it was fun
