Dear, there are 100% chances for IT professionals to be selected for SBP. I am also from IT background (BS(Hons) in Comp Sc.) and I was selected as assistant director in SBOTS-15th batch last year.

hi usman plz tell me what kind of questions they asked u in interview , as khalid and other selected candidates tell us that they were asked questions (mostly) related to their field of interest, but as u knw most of CS/IT graduates interestd in programming or database
so wot about ur experience plz share in detail

Here is my interview experience:

My interview was held at SBP Lahore office. First of all, they conducted the session of ‘Group Discussion’ and then the selected candidates were interviewed the same day.

They asked me questions related to Islam, Functions of SBP, Current Affairs and Social Issues, Hobbies, Favorite Personality and Computer Science etc.

Following questions were asked from these areas:

Islam: Difference between Ghazwa and Syria, Quran Majeed and Hadith etc.
Functions of SBP: what are fuctions of SBP as a central bank, who are its customers and stakeholders etc.
Current Affairs and Social Issues: War on Terror, Poverty, Unemployment, difference between sood and qarz e hasna.
Computer Sciences: Artificial Intelligence, Networking devices (Routers and Switches), Fiber Optics and Wireless Communication etc.

I did e-mailed IBP three times but they turned deaf ear
and there is no other source to tell us about declaration of result
and the most wondering thing that today the site of SBP is not opening that seems very funny
but listen don't say any thing

NO news yet....It has been 5 months since they have started their recruitment process...still no idea how long it will take
