Okay here is how it works. Your applications are piled up through out the duration till the deadline for a particular post. If you have taken the test and have successfully completed it you would get a call for an initial interview. Then there would be group discussions. They would select the best candidates for training and then go from there.
Training is not an issue and don't worry you are not the only one taking the test. Plus you have to apply for some position too. Which post did you apply for?
mene graduate program k liye (cnsumer bankiing fast track program).... ap ne test attempt kiya???? |
I am from Karachi region. I received the offer letter on friday evening and I am still confused whether to join or not...Already working in a multinational offering me chances of travelling and job rotations.
Can some one tell me the career growth aspects for junior officers at SBP ? I have heard it is only in rare cases that some junior officer makes it to OG2 positions :s Regards |

Junior officer in it self is nothing special. But you can always switch. You would not be provided this opportunity in other companies. |
Received my joining instructions today. Have to report at NIBAF by 31st of March by 4 pm.
I received the letter a week back. Here is what you have to do. Get your appointment letter and report to SBP office in your region asap. They would take a copy of the appointment letter from you and guide you further.
We actually had to fill in all the forms on stamp papers. Get our medical tests conducted, get a TB clearance certificate and at the end a comprehensive medical was conducted by MO at SBP. There would be other forms that also have to be filled. Its would take up three more days. So better hurry up. The training is starting from 31st.
Thanks Saqib.... yeah today i reported to SBP, D.I.KHAN. and IN SHA ALLAH most of the formalities hv been fulfilled today.....medical tests have also been conducted except that naked part :rrolleyes |

Yes |
Today morning i receive appointment letter of SBP Junior Officer.
Other selected members plz guide me what should i do now. Because training is starting from Tomorrow. And SBP Lahore is closed today. |
Brother I am no authority to tell you what to do and other members wont be able to do so either with 100% confidence.
So all I can do is give you my suggestion which is to go ahead and go to Islamabad. You wont be able to report to Nibaf like me and other candidates for training who have COMPLETED all the pre training formalities which include (2 surety bonds, contract on stamp paper and secrecy and the most important one is medical fitness) So you will have to get done with such formalities and no one can yet tell you that if it is possible for you to do so in Islamabad or you must do it in Lahore. You can only get to know answer to this question once they open on Monday morning. However I do remember that in our documents there was one blank where we have to write PLACE for submission of documents, and I put Karachi in it. All I am saying is that if there was a blank asking for this info then it might mean that it is possible to submit documents other than your regional office. So in order to save time go ahead and go to Islamabad and ask someone at NIBAF what to do. Further to save your time here is what you should do. You need each document on stamp paper worth hundred Rupees but 100 Rs stamp papers are out of stock all over Pak, instead get two 50 ones for each document. Get BOTH sureties signed by 17 grade Gov officer and keep NIC copy of that officer. Secrecy is totally your own document you just sign your own name In contract leave dates and most of the info blank as they will do it themselves BUT do get signatures and INFO of all 6 witnesses (2 for each surety and 2 for contract) Also get their NIC copies. |

How many candidates reported to NIBAF today???? And how many are late yet???? |
I received call at 7:47pm form NIBAF asking me the reason for my not joining. I said that I neither received call nor letter for selection/joining. They asked me to report at 8am at NIBAF on monday.
The question is why is there such mismanagement? Many candidates received their letters late and in my case I didn't receive at all (address was same at which I got earlier letters). Secondly, why the training is starting when the lengthy pre-training procedures of many candidates are still not completed due to their own mismanagement. Lets see what happens at morning. |

And SBP Lahore gave me time to complete all those pre conditions before joining to NIBAF |
I am given time upto 4th April,2013 to complete all formalities. Actually they are responsible for our late training at NIBAF.

Dear after 1 year experience can you tell me plz that ABL MTO is beter it SBO JO OG1??? |
It is not mentioned anywhere in the advertisement that it is on contract basis, and if it is on contract basis then what would happen after the expiry of contract we shall left striving on the streets for seeking jobs with having our last take home only 25000/-, its foolish.
