GK was proper bullshit, wasn't it? Have they gone bloody mad? Is that 'general' knowledge? that required extremely 'specialized' and historic knowledge of Pakistan's economy since 1960s to date. that is called deception. who wouldn't have prepared for it if they had properly communicated that it will be economics and not GK...???

I'm getting a distinct feeling... i think SBP had a group of candidates whom the GK was already fully communicated, that particular bunch will too easily pass the test and no one else will!! that'd be an excellent discrete way of making a fool of all of.

Do you guys also think as I do??

you cannot make it through even if you score 84 but don't get at least 50% in each individual section, like, 20 in english, 15 each in both GK and Quantitative. Last time, in the YPIP test it was 50% and i guess the requirement was even harder for SBOT test. It might come down this time, maybe..i'm just guessing it.

I really appreciate SBP recruitment system on merit... but how can u analyse someone skills out of pattern... its not all about marks or equal treatment its about induction process (specially assesment procedure)....
hope u get my point

Default Hard Luck Guys

So after today's SBP Test I am thinking how this test gonna assess our skills for qualifing Junior Officer in SBP specially the last portion of test i.e General Knowledge.

I have never seen such FAZOOOL GK content in any test i ever given. Asking GDP growth rate of 1960 sounds what? Asking about Investment Ratio to GNP in 2002 is surprising.

So, Hopefully most of the candidates will pass the test but fail to qualify the test if same treatment as of YPIP was done.

Hard Luck Guys.

My Answers:
7th Installment: $ 394
Modarba Ordinance: 1980
PC II: Project Preparation
Major staple food: Wheat
Fiscal Deficit: Domestic resources
CPI November: 6.9 %
Crowding out: Recession
Major Export: Textile
1990 Crisis: Singapore

Plz correct me if I m wrong some where.
