I don't remember the option number. Odd and even numbers, both statements were correct. So, I selected "statement I and II are correct".

question was , sum two numbers from the series also in series. so ans was prim num and even num,

Sum of prime #s isn't always a Prime number. So ans was Even only.

why,
because if we add 2 odd numbers the answer would be an even number, and if add 2 prime numbers the answer is not always a number which is prime.. so the rule is only satisfied by the set of integers..

Did they ask that it must satisfy for all the numbers in the series, i think always word was not there.

Wasnt the first set of rule about even numbers instead of integers? even odd and prime numbers, I dont remember reading integers.
