I have done A levels after Matriculation and was wondering if i should get an equivalence certificate from IBCC or not?
(The interview letter doesn't contain anything regarding this.)

You should get your equivalence certificate from IBCC as most organisations ask for it. Do it as soon as you are done with your interview. It takes around a month for the process.

Before they were about to start with me I told them not to ask me any Economics or Accounts. So they went straight to the amount of currency in circulation, trade deficit financing sources, amount of trade deficit, amount of imports; all of which i didn't know ofcourse and told them plainly. The next round of questions was from Economics about what is Ruppee backed by, is ruppee pegged with dollar, what would happen to ruppee if it was pegged with dollar, what is purchasing power parity, what is real effective exchange rate. Then there was a wave of questions from accounting, crucial assumptions of accounting, what is accrual basis, what is sum of year digits method, what is amortization. And then they advised me to maintain a reserved and formal attitude in future interviews for my own sake!

Exactly! I'm currently doing M.Phil in Economics. Have done Masters and CA foundation, and am currently employed in EOBI as an Ass.Director with better perks and more flexible work schedule than SBP-BSC which I told them plainly.
O and there were 5 on panel when I went in and a 6th guy joined half through my interview.

In 2013 interview questions were general. Now it seems they're asking more technical questions. But I still think, selection would be highly subjective decision. If one is able to answer at least half of the questions with a positive and confident attitude and outlook, one must get the opportunity.
