O and there were 5 on panel when i went in and a 6th guy joined half through my interview.
what were u doing in sbp then....did u lose your wallet and went there to collect it or what...bro try to be a little humble...i was sitting upright in the chair to show respect and be humble...they said i should relax a bit and sit with my back against the chair...i replied with respect, " sir, slouching is not acceptable for the interviewee and if sit like u, i might forget the difference b/w u and me"... They were really pleased with the answer and asked me around 14 very simple questions( simple at least for me )...i gave them smiling faces and maintained the environment so till the end...it was a nice panel...selection or rejection is a matter of luck and fate...but at least we shouldn't be arrogant...i hope i haven't hurt your sentiments...but it is a lesson that i learned prior to you at the expense of a job that the panel wanted to bring to my home but i retaliated with arrogance and low spirits for the job...and so i blew the chance in spite the fact that i adore it very much....

The only reason I was unprofessional was on purpose because I do not want to land the job. But due to my father's insistence I had to give the interview, the draw-back of being a girl; we can not make all our decisions on our own. I already have a job I'm happy with by the grace of Almighty. You'd know better if you were a girl too

Be confident and give them enough honest reasons to hire you!

For example how committed you are to a cause when you join it. How good you are at whatever you take up. The best way to show that would be by thorughly preparing about the interview by perusing the State Bank website. Money in Circulation, Trade, Exports and imports current facts and figures must be on your fingertips along with the general bank related concepts of your field. If you are from finance, that would include accounting basics, business admin or management I guess.

The interview panel asked me if I had gone through their website. I told them 'to some extent'. That's when they pelted me with all the latest facts quetions so I believe SBP's own site would be helpful. Check the state bank bulletin on the SBP site, we in Eco generally use that for latest facts and figures. Also Dawn or the Economic review pages of some other reliable Newspaper can be seen for such info.
All CSS and SBP aspirants must incorporate reading the newspaper (news and economic section and not the sports or glamour portion :p) as a part and parcel of their daily routine anyways. If not in this attempt, then in the next you'll reap the benefit of developing such a habit.
