any info about exact number of seats? if its 60 then is karachi included in it or does they have separate seats? also will all the candidates be informed at the same time or in different phases turn by turn?

hi everyone! i just want to ask how much is the total take-home salary of
OG-2? i heard a couple of members saying 40k...is this 40k basic pay or total take home salary including all allowances...secondly i also heard that salary of og-2 in sbp is 65000 while in sbp-bsc is 40000..i mean is it true? and if it is why?
Secondly in almost all provincial third class BPS 17s, the starting salary is 45000-50000 while in sbp-bsc ( widely hailed by people as being one of the best jobs in Pakistan ) it is 40000....i just don't get it...this is so strange...please help me regarding this confusion..a detailed answer will be highly appreciated...

The only question I can answer here is that the take home pay is 40,000. In SBP itself OG-2 people get 65,000 but not in BSC.
As to the whys and whats, no idea! And from what I get, the 40,000 remains 40,000 for three years until the upgrade to OG-3. This last statement is open to doubt, because in general pays increase year after year in other departments but SBP BSC isn't like other departments so, dont know for sure. But the female recruits of last year told us that they are getting 40k and no more. No transport arrangement either. And the timing is 9-5:30 and no matter whether you are totally free, you cant leave until 5:30. And on the last weekday due to audit, the timing stretches to 6:30-7.

That's scary!, people are gonna lose enthusiasms for SBP-BSC, any input here from sbp employee would be great

After 3 years worth of good ACRs in SBP and promotion to OG-3, you get a hell of a lot of loans for house financing, car financing etc. Before that you can avail the free medical perk for yourself, your spouse and children.

I think you direly need to cultivate better sources in SBP and as for that lady friend of yours, please ask her to be present-minded while at work, because I see no other reason why else would somebody twist facts. No offense intended btw.

Now, back to questions of aspirants:

1> Take home pay of OG-2s in BSC is 40K, at present. But a salary review is pending for June 2015, and salaries are expected to rise. How much? We don't know yet.

2> Salaries CAN increase every year based on your performance and your boss' appraisal, by as much as 10%, and more. We call this AMI for Annual Merit Increase.

3> Every 2 years, a salary review is carried out and salaries are increased accordingly to market conditions. Now, remember, you may or may not be promoted to OG-3, but your salary WILL SURELY increase. Period.

4> Only out-of-station (SBP term for away from home) female recruits are getting transportation facility to and fro hostel, in Karachi atleast.

5> Ofcourse, SBP-BSC is a very disciplined organization and we don't expect you to leave before duty hours. However, we are also humans, and we understand that sometimes you may need to be away from work early (or come to work late) on account of various instances (an important non-work related commitment, attending your children's PTA, etc). But, one shouldn't leave early just for the sake of it.

6> Lastly, I don't know who told you that "last-weekday-audit" part. I assure you there is no dept in SBP/SBP-BSC where audit is done every Friday. There are audit cycles, but none which is so frequent. But nature of work in each departments differ. Few departments are free before 5:30, many at 5:30, and few after 5:30.

thanku gandalf. in which cities we will be appointed if we are selected? i mean sbp.bsc is present wherever sbp is present or is it not necessary?
