In test you don't have time for mathematical standard procedures...you have to apply the layman-technique in your head to solve such questions...don't ever try to do paper work unless its the last remaining mcq...
LAYMAN-TECH: man A can do a job in 60 hours, man B in 40 hours....both have their individual capacities which vary from each other...a man C with a capacity in-between the two is their average....(60+40)/2=50 ....man C will do the job in 50 hours...Now since man C is the representative sample of the other two, A and B, then the capacity of A and B together will be equal to 2 times their representative C. now if one C can Do the Job in 50 hours then in how much time will 2 C's be able to do the job. the answer is plain straight...50/2=25....25
the standard procedure is extremely time consuming and never try to use it unless you have atleast 20 minutes remaining for the last 4 or 5 mcqs. i suggest you always do math portion in the end....as about the validity of technique you should'nt doubt it cuz i have an engineering background and developing such analytical tech's is a routine business for us...

Well, that's not true. One of the person got selected last year with 58 marks for OG-1 in batch-2. This depends on your interview and the area you belong.

Yes printing out the result page would work.

To all the concerned.

I have just talked to NTS representative about the criteria of aggregate 65%. He said the only criteria for passing the test was 50% in each section. 65% in aggregate means your NTS Score + Academic score. Send your documents to sbp if it says qualified
