Proposal for the cluster based examination is rejected by PM, so it will be following the same scheme from 2016 attempt.

Default Educational Requirement

Dear aspirants, kindly tell me if I'm eligible for CE-2017? I'm a CA student, I gave my Bachelors (14 years of education) in order to give CSS. But now I'm hearing conflicting reports that the educational requirement may increase to 16 years. Kindly tell me if its true? I will start my preparation according

Thank You

There is no 16 year education requirement. There is no indication that such a requirement will be enforced. The latest announcement only concerned the age limit.

Thank you very much. Do you think it will be implemented in the future though?

Looks like Govt wants to introduce cluster based exams as early as 2018.

I swear I knew the moment I saw the age extension that the govt would next pull a move that would offset all the goodwill they created.. It's like they hate the fact that people are appreciating them.

Cluster based will work like for e.g, Merit #1 has an economics degree but his choice will be limited to Customs or IRS..but merit #140 has a degree in public administration and thus he will be allocated to PAS.

Merit #12 has an accounting qualification so he will go to Audit & Accounts group, but merit #375 has a criminology degree, so he gets Police.

I know the old baboos at FPSC hate doctors and engineers, but this is too much.

This was first thought off in India, but it was laughed out and considered a joke, but of course Pakistan has to be different and cause trouble for everyone.

There will be 3 groups.

Group1: Information group ( those with journalism or media study degree).

Group 2: Finance groups I.e Customs, IRS, PAAS, CTG (those with MBA, Economics or Accounting qualifications)

Group 3: General groups I.e DMG, Police, OMG, MLCG etc ( for MBBS, Engineers,or degrees in Pol Sci, IR, History, Law, MBA etc).

Though I expect hundreds (including myself) will go to courts as to why MBA or finance will get special treatment..like they can get in both finance and general groups.

Agar unko itna pata hai, toh CTP, STP khatam karo..jaisay hee result aye. agley din daftar mein bithao
