Default CSS v/s Judiciary

No one yet here in this forum has given Judiciary exams as far as i've searched anyways, the general trend is more towards css than judiciary and information regarding it is scarce. I know this is "CSS Forum" but still talks about Judiciary be done as this is the best platform for competitive exams i've come across with.

I wd request the seniors to kindly elaborate basics : structure, ranking, promotions, functions etc of Judiciary so one can have clear picture of it and can distinguish it with css and know the strengths and weaknesses of both.

CSS V/S JUDICIARY

I've hear why people dont move much to judiciary is tha its very corrupted at low levels of civil judge ..their salary packages are very poor forcing them into corruption ...whats on the ground ?/

thats what i thought so, dear sis
then let me update ur E.Q,
first,
even if u pass the exam of LLb, u cannnot compete for civil judge cum judicial magistrate because not only it need 2 year practice as a lawyer of L.C/H.C but the date of the experience will be reckon from the date when u register urself in any district bar of pakistan. The date from which u got ur licence has no value as far as experience clause is concerned.
second
when anyone devotedly practice law for 2 years, no one need the power of civil judge cum judicial magistrate, because they are already enjoying much more than the seat bearer possess
third
the exam is too tough, if there are 100 seats only 40 of them declared passed

and out of them only 8 to 15 got the seat of civil judge cum judicial magistrate.
as far as powers are compared with any CSS/PMS officer concerned
a civil judge cum judicial magistrate has much more power than u thought, for example he can, not only humiliate them in full court but can arrest and detain them even on accusation, can order to register an FIR against them, can do much more than that...................

in short the relation between all CSS/PCS seat bearer and civil judge cum judicial magistrate are like small chicks in front of a cat.

u said if 1 devotedly practice then he already ejoys similar power than that of judge... and css/pms officers ' Chicks in front of a cat(c.judge) ' then is that lawyers too have an edge over css/pms?

How tough is it???? more than css/pms??? is it more difficult than css/pms?

the level of difficulty is measured by the number of seats available for the required job, the periodic availability of vacancies and the ratio of successful candidates in the said criteria.

as far as these three essentials are concerned
PCS-JUDICIARY is the toughest of all

Lightbulb Clarification !!!!!!!

Dear,

Level of difficulty is measured by difficulty level of the paper setter and the most important off all Quality of the Stuff\Candidates appearing in the exam rather than the number of seats available. Quality of law graduates appearing in the exam is an open secret. Almost 99% of the law graduates are those rejeceted lot who could not get addmission anywhere else. They get addmission in LLB as a lart resort. Take the example of Punjab University where merit list for addmissions is displayed at the end of all when addmissions to all other programmes are closed. So exam must be difficult for them(i.e. 99 %). Most of the remeining 1 % law graduates opt for CSS\PMS or some opt for practice as lawyer. Only a few from these who feel working as an advocate impossible due to their calibre opt for judiciary examination.

Only a few hundred candidates(refer to para no one) appear in judiciary exam but thousands appear in CSS\PMS. Only this parameter can tell the whole story that which exam is in demand and for which service people aspire.

CSS\PMS has no comparison with Judiciary. JUdiccial officers have to go through one line only, just routine work of the same nature. but CSS|PMS officers enjoy massive scope of mobility in different sectors. A CSS\PMS officer can go to any department of the Punjab Govt. being managed through secretariat. They can go to countless projects national \ international. This scope make them feel at ease. Correspondingly a judicial officer remainsis in one line only through out the service. They can hardly go to HIgh Court \Supreme Court because Govt. pick good lawyers for the seats in High Court\ Supreme Court. Govt do not consider these judicial officers\civil judges fit for higher judiciary. . There are no vehicles upto the rank of Additional District & Session Judges. only Session Judge enjoys official vehicle. And u talk the powers and facilities.

As far as u have mentioned about humiliation , just go on the web and search the photo in which just a poice constable is holding the ex-chief justice by hair. Govt(Executive) sacked all the top slot of judiciary and u talk about powers.

Stop living in fools paradise !

Regards
