Default Those Seven Days

So finally I am done with my papers and on Monday I will be going back. There are a few observations which I wanted to share with fellow members regarding exams.

1. CSS-2014 was not at all easy, as I was thunderstruck to see some of the comments repeatedly made by "some" who didn't even take the exam.

2. FPSC, in spite of all its claims of transparency and efficiency failed to deliver yet again. The invigilators were not at all trained , their own cell phones were ringing during the exam and the biggest nuisance was the examiners talking among themselves and making announcements which were audible only to those sitting at the front.

3. They charge us Rs 2200/ for the exams but the quality of chairs was deplorable.I believe there will be many like me who have become patients of back ache during those seven days.

4. Cheating and unfair means were pervasive, on comfort and need basis.Examiners did overlook some candidates taking their cell phones with them while they were stubborn enough not to allow even clipboards to some unlucky fellows.

5.Last but not the least, as with all exams some of us will pass while some of us will fall but FPSC should not remain consistent in putting all the burden on candidates while ignoring its own maladministration.

Best of Luck to all the aspirants.

True and also the way FPSC set several centers of a candidate instead of 1, that was another managerial defect.

I found that if proper attention is paid to proper studies and newspaper of Dawn and current affair is kept updated ...........it is easy to solve questions ......and the question of result and paper checking may be answered after result.

Exactly, I had four centers in all and it was really an annoyance for someone who isn't a local.

Matee I believe all serious aspirants; which these days are numbered in hundreds if not thousands study properly, in my opinion its a question of sustaining pressure and reproducing the learned material in a lucid manner. Some of us are better equipped to do that and some are not.

Well I am very much disappointed in the so called "management" of FPSC because :

1- The seating arrangement was poor as fatima had described above.

2- There were two cases, both of them were boys, one wrote on question paper and the other one brought cell phone with him and their answer sheets were not taken from although they violated rules.

3- Poor arrangement of washrooms even in some centres there was only one available for use. Same was the case with cafeteria because on friday when I waited outside in the cold for Psychology Paper 2 to begin, the cafeteria was closed and after the prayers it never reopened.

Lekin khair kia keh sakty hain Pakistan hena yahaan sab chalta hai.. We can do only one thing and that is pray to Allah

absolutely true Fatima!!
Sukkur centre was, indeed, a step ahead. Our first paper started fifteen minutes late. and for other papers which comprised mcqs were given on time whereas subjective part was given after 30 mins. I told invigilator to give me subjective part as I had completed it but he said that he would give us 30mins later because it was written in question paper (as per his interpretation). Stupid guy
next time I'll tick for Khi centre.
